WARNING GRAPHIC WOUND PICTURES When our cat was bitten by a rattlesnake TWICE we didn't know if he would make it. We took Grizwald to Dr Jones on July 5th 2024 and by September he was back to being himself. The bite(s) caused swelling and tissue damage that he has completely recovered from! Those first 2 days she and her staff cared for Griz in the office placing an IV giving antivenom, pain meds, fluids and antibiotics. He knows he is lucky to have survived and he's living it up with the 8 lives he has left. 馃樅 Thank you so much for all of your hard work and dedication!

Dr. Jones saved my dog's life (again) she knows her stuff, she is just very expensive, like any ER hospital. So don't go here unless you are ready to pay a considerable amount of money. Imagine paying your personal ER hospital bill upfront. (I wish there was doggie medi-cal) She will save your pets life. I feel like she is less busy that other day to day vet's offices that sees tons of pets everyday (not always bad) so she does remember your pet's issues and treats accordingly. I've been taking my dog to her for 13 years.

I want to start this review by saying my dog is currently taking meds & seems to be improving after 2 days from being seen at this clinic. However, I'd look for a different emergency clinic in the future. I brought my dog here to be treated while my regular vet's office was closed. The front office was empty both times I came - understaffed? The girl who did the intake for my dog was friendly, positive, and upbeat. She seemed to actually care which put me a little more at ease. When the veterinarian spoke with me, she seemed drained, emotionless, and quite cold. Not a single smile from her... I figured she was just tired since it was early in the morning. After reading other reviews, it sounds like she is often cold. Which isn't a great feeling for pet owners when leaving their sick animals with a stranger. My dog was diagnosed with a UTI and treatment cost $1400 since I was unable to get care credit. They do not offer any other payment plans and full payment is up front. I don't like to haggle but I asked the vet tech if there was any part of the plan that could be removed, she spoke with the vet briefly & they took off 1 item (parasite test) that would have been ruled out with a positive UTI test - which was exactly what happened! Unnecessary tests at the cost of the pet owner! I had to pay for $16 for 3 cans of dog food and the vet encouraged me to buy more but didnt bother to explain the benefits of the food or why she couldn't have her normal food. I also paid an additional $150 for 2 different UTI meds. The vet didn't take the time to explain what the meds specifically do and she seemed annoyed to give me instructions on how to administer the meds. I had to ask for a mixing syringe because 1 medication needed to be diluted. I'm surprised she didn't charge me for the syringe... My dog stayed at the clinic for roughly 12 hours, and I was told I'd be called with updates. I called twice for updates, received good word and later on was called by the vet for another update and was told I could pick my dog up an hour early. Later on I called for another update and was told to pick my dog up an hour later due to a different animal's surgery. Again, they're probably understaffed. When I came to pick my dog up, they had me pay for the medication before I could even see my dog. I also had to ask for a copy of the invoice....otherwise I wouldn't have even received a receipt. The next day, I received a follow up call with a guy who seemed very very confused, slow, and honestly lost. I almost asked to speak with someone else bc he put me on hold whenever I asked a question, I could hear the phone ringing in the background and he just seemed very unsure about everything he was telling me. I've had employers that do not adequately train their people and this seemed to be the case. The only employee who seemed to be knowledgeable and friendly was the one who did the intake for my dog, she deserves a raise! They lost 2 stars for me, because of the poor customer service. It's wild to charge people high prices while not filling them in on details or even pretending to sympathetic. Giving 3 stars because the basic need of seeing my dog & helping her was done. Also they gave my dog a certificate of bravery and took a really cute picture of her lol. Pet owners, make sure you do your research before choosing a clinic and ask questions! *** I also do not blame any employee for being confused, unsure, or even unfriendly. Management is responsible for ALL aspects of the business. Please provide your staff with adequate training and respect them! Without your staff, you don't have a business! I heard the tone of your voice when speaking to your employees and it's disheartening!
