They were they only ones open near me on Presidents Day when I took my cat here, who had a nasty cut on his foot and was limping. They took him in and he came back same day with instant improvement, no more limping, and just got better from there. They let you know ahead of time for billing of what to expect and you do have to make an appointment but they have good availability and you can always call ahead to get the fees.

We have been to a lot of Veterinarian offices in the East LA and Monterey Park areas always looking for the cheapest place to go. After fail after fail of low cost vets that kept disappointing us for the service, I made an appointment at Encanto Animal Hospital (Garfield off the 60) and was given one of the best experiences when my girlfriend and I were feeling hopeless for the cost of our cat. Dr. Cassidy not only helped us, but showed us care for our pets well being and fought for us to get the best cost surgery and went out of her way throughout the entire day just to help us find help for our cat’s health. That’s love for her patients. I don’t think we could thank her enough for being so fair to us and understanding. Her front desk staff has been by far the best people to represent the concern and care you’ll find here. This is most definitely our vet now and we’re going to bring in our other cat soon!

I am so glad I found this veterinary service. I was blessed to find a stray kitten, and no one would take the time to see him. I called on a Saturday morning at 830am, and a kind person picked up and was able to schedule a sameday check-up for our little kitten. When I arrived, I was greeted by a great team, and the veterinarian was kind and very helpful. They did a flea treatment, tested for FIV, performed a fecal worm test, and gave him a complete wash. When I went to pick the kitten up, he was being warmed up with his new free blanket and an air warmer (bear hugger). The following day, the vet tech called and gave us a report on the fecal test, which was negative. They scheduled all of his next few exams for his vaccinations and f/u appointments. This place is a hidden gem. Very clean, and you feel like family when coming here. I will not be taking my cats to my old vet at San Gabriel Animal Hospital as they wouldn't pick up the phone. Our new kitten Shadow is healthy, and he is doing well now thanks to the team at Encanto.

Dr. Cassidy is a true blessing! After years of dealing with my dog’s back issues, and spending money at several facilities, we ran across Encanto Animal Hospital when we moved into the area four years ago. Immediately, I loved the place. Her staff is courteous, the facility is super cute and clean. More importantly, is that Dr. Cassidy treats you and your pet like family. My fur baby’s back went completely out and she was unable to walk. Dr. Cassidy not only referred us to Dr. Powers at LASER Animal Hospital, but she kept in touch with Dr. Powers during out baby’s surgery and hospital stay. I cannot praise her and her staff enough! She is truly a blessing and the best veterinary ever!

These are the kindest people (!) periodt. I've brought two different kittens to Dr. Cassidy and both times she helped rehabilitate them in miraculous ways. I found this kitten famished, dehydrated and with obvious bronchial issues, not being sure how he would recover. It took two months of constant appointments and medications (it was rough, I tell you) to get him better. They were honest that it would be so, but we worked together and I thank God for Dr. Cassidy and her staff for their love, care and attention to seeing us through the process. THANK YOU, ENCANTO!
