I came to this vet because it was closest after moving here from out of state. I transferred vets recently because I've had enough of this place and I honestly really wish I had left earlier. There were just way too many mistakes made for my three cats. Over the last two years these are all the issues I had: My cat had constant eye issues. I'd bring him in like once a month and she'd tell me he's fine and charge me $89 dollars. It wasn't until I brought him in and a visiting vet was there that he told me he might have feline herpes. This turned out to be the case and I got him on lysine which has helped a lot. Dr. Tucker was content to keep me coming in for his eye issues without ever telling me herpes might be a possibility. Another cat I adopted from a shelter had ringworm. Dr. Tucker examined her and said she was fine. Reoccurring theme here. I took her home and noticed a lot of scabs and fur missing. I brought her back in and told Dr. Tucker about it and she finally did a test and diagnosed her with ringworm. She gave me the wrong dosage for the ringworm medicine which I figured out after a week of having my cat quarantined in a small room. I called her and she told me she made a mistake and to give the dosage I saw on the box. I wasted two entire weeks that my cat could be healing. Not to mention the stress of being quarantined. The third cat she prescribed Prozac for after she had anxiety issues. This was fine but I was told by the new vet my cat needs to have her liver function monitored every six months while on Prozac. Of course Dr. Tucker made no mention of this. The last straw was on Christmas Eve my cat had been squinting and having eye issues. This was a cat without herpes that had never had eye issues before. I took her in and Dr. Tucker looked at her eye, told me she was fine and sent me home with an $89 charge. She didn't even shine a light in her eye or dilate it. Her eye got worse so on Christmas morning I was at the emergency vets and the vet found she had an eye ulcer. Had I trusted Dr. Tucker it would have gotten a lot worse. Overall I'm just extremely disappointed with how many mistakes were made and how much money I wasted to hear "they're fine" and it turns out they're not. I would absolutely not recommend this vet to anyone.

Jan 08, 2025 · T GriffeyWe went in for our cat, about a week ago, had some problems with eating food and we went in for a check up. They ended up diagnosing him and giving us the cost for everything. Of course we pay to help our cat. It was already a hefty bill and just to use a card, there was an extra charge. Our cat came back healthy and okay but a couple days later they call us to tell us that they couldn’t charge the card and we had to come back. And she also mentioned that we needed to get the medicine for our cat like 3 DAYS LATER. if we needed medicine for our cat, why didn’t you explain that before hand after we picked him up? The doctor nor the receptionist had said ANYTHING about medicine when we were there but conveniently they “mis charge” us and also need to pick up this important medicine for our cat that we hadn’t been giving him for the last 3 days….Very weird and didn’t sit right with us. Turns out the woman at the desk made a mistake while typing up the costs and instead of $1,000 and something she entered $163 and we hadn’t noticed until we got the call. So not only did we have to come in again but we were also charged another fee for using the card and paid an extra $50 then what it was originally supposed to be.The mistake of the reception girl and we had to pay. Nice people but not very empathetic. Told my mom that there was nothing they could do and she had to pay. They definitely overcharged and really are just in it to scam people. If you care for your pets, there are many other places you can go that will treat your cat better and aren’t trying to steal your money.
Dec 19, 2024 · fachu cordobaWe’ve taken our cats to Dr Tucker for many years. She is very caring to the animals and their humans. We recommend her to everyone who asks for a recommendation. We hope she has many more years as a vet. God has a special place for her in heaven. We love her. You will too.
Dec 07, 2024 · thomas anseaumeI can't express enough how thankful I am to the vet and the entire staff for being so welcoming and attentive to the situation I encountered this morning while walking through the park. I came across a turtle that seemed to be stuck in the middle of the road. After moving it next to the pond, I noticed it didn't want to go in. Upon closer inspection, I realized there was a hook lodged in its mouth. Panicking, I knew it needed help immediately. I contacted this vet, and they asked me to bring the turtle in. They took us in right away, and after about an hour and one X-ray, not only did they remove the hook with ease, but they also discovered that the turtle is a female with six eggs! I'm so happy I found her and that every single one of you helped her with such humility and kindness. Thank you!! THIS VET IS A MUST GO TO!!
Jun 20, 2024 · Johnnie Gonzalez1st puppy visit and the staff are very friendly, the place is clean and not your average boring vet office. Feels more like home. Doc gives a clear understanding of your pets health needs. "Beloved" was happy to visit despite all the shots he needed. Thank you all for making us feel welcome!
