El Dorado Animal Hospital

El Dorado Animal Hospital has been our veterinarian since moving here in 2016. Every vet we have seen has been professional & compassionate in providing care to our pets. The staff - from the front desk to the vet techs - are friendly & understanding of our pet’s needs. One very happy pet parent here!

Dr. Sarah & staff are lovely & even though our dog Blue is a little anxious they treat him with kindness & patience ! He loves people & treats ! We are very happy with our dog being seen at El Dorado !

Ever since we moved to Fountain Hills in 2017, we have taken our cat, Mia, to El Dorado for all of her needs. The first time, we saw Dr. Bashaw. We were so pleased with her caring, professionalism and honesty that we decided we wanted to see only her for Mia’s care. But Mia was sick sometimes when Dr. Bashaw was unavailable, so we saw Dr. Marshall, and we were not disappointed…She was also excellent, and our dear Mia was well taken care of. Last summer, when again unpredicted sickness hit our Mia, we saw Dr. Mattick…Mia was getting older and weaker…In all these years, none of these doctors pushed us to do unnecessary labs or treatments, but they always educated us and prepared us for what would need to be done and what would be best. At the very last appointment, we accompanied Mia with broken hearts…we knew we might have to say goodbye. Dr. Mattick was there…I cannot explain the way he took care of Mia and us. Dr. Mattick was extremely caring: the way he talked to us while he took the time to explain that now was the time for our dear Mia to take her last breath. He was not in any rush. I am forever grateful. And last but not least, the staff of El Dorado was always prompt and always found a way to help us when needed. Mia was a good cat, and she lived many good years because of the good care we received from El Dorado.

Dr.Basha and her entire staff are top notch. Every experience I have had specifically with Dr. Basha herself has been phenomenal. She is kind, compassionate and extremely helpful and willing to give recommendations in care that I greatly appreciate. Today I left my interceptor purchase on the counter and to my extreme appreciation David and Dr. Basha personally brought it to my home! I’m so grateful to have such a kind and compassionate veterinarian!

I brought my dog in to get some medicine for his ear infection. Thirty minutes and $187 later, we were out of there. Yikes! Didn't ask for a ten- second checkup but it was done and I was charged for it. There must be a cheaper way.
