They are a little more for neuter than some other vets. In my opinion, the service and atmosphere are well worth the price difference. Thanks so much!

  • Vaccinations: Protecting your pet from preventable diseases is a key component of our preventative care. We likely offer a range of essential vaccinations tailored to your pet's species, age, and lifestyle to ensure they are protected against common illnesses.
  • Surgical Procedures: Veterinary hospitals commonly offer surgical services, which may include routine procedures such as spaying and neutering, as well as other necessary surgical interventions. One customer review specifically mentions the cost of neutering services.

One customer review offers insight into the perceived value of the services at Edgar County Veterinary Service, stating, "They are a little more for neuter than some other vets. In my opinion, the service and atmosphere are well worth the price difference. Thanks so much!" This suggests that while the pricing for certain procedures might be slightly higher compared to other options, the overall quality of service and the clinic's atmosphere are considered valuable by at least one client.

However, another customer shared a negative experience regarding communication and appointment scheduling, stating, "If no stars was an option that is what I would give this vet. I called a week ago asking for prices on vaccinations. They took my name and number and assured me they would be calling me back with an estimate. They did not. I called them back and was told I missed an appointment to get a couple ferrel cats fixed around my neighborhood a year ago. They are refusing to see my animals for simple vaccinations or at all no. If anybody doesn't know what it's like to deal with ferrel cats it's very unpredictable. Being a veterinarian clinic I assumed it would be common knowledge. This was a very unprofessional experience." This review raises concerns about communication practices and appointment handling at the clinic.

It is important for potential clients to consider both positive and negative feedback when making decisions about their pet's care. The positive review highlights the perceived value of the service and atmosphere, while the negative review points to potential issues with communication and client relations in specific situations. As an objective introduction, we present both perspectives based on the available customer feedback.

Features of Edgar County Veterinary Service, based on the limited information, appear to include a focus on providing a service and atmosphere that some clients find worth a potential price difference compared to other veterinary options. The availability of a mobile phone number (+1 217-466-6777) suggests an additional point of contact for pet owners.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information available for Edgar County Veterinary Service in the provided data. It is advisable to contact the clinic directly at (217) 466-6777 to inquire about any current promotions, discounts, or pricing for specific services you may require for your pet.

In conclusion, Edgar County Veterinary Service in Paris, IL, offers a range of veterinary services for your pets. While one customer found the service and atmosphere to be valuable, even with a slightly higher cost for certain procedures, another reported a negative experience regarding communication and appointment handling. We encourage local pet owners to contact Edgar County Veterinary Service directly to discuss their pet's specific needs and to gain a comprehensive understanding of the services, environment, and any current pricing or promotional offers available.
