I can't thank the team at Eaton Animal Den enough for the care and compassion they showed us during one of the hardest moments of our lives. Saying goodbye to our beloved Chikis was incredibly difficult, but the kindness and empathy from the staff made all the difference. They treated Chikis with such tenderness and respect, and they made sure we felt supported every step of the way. Their gentle approach and genuine care brought us so much comfort. We're forever grateful for the love and dignity they gave our sweet girl in her final moments. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Welcome to Eaton Animal Den

Introducing Eaton Animal Den, a "Pet Hospital" located at 231 S Elm Ave, Eaton, CO 80615, USA. You can contact them at (970) 454-1700 or their mobile number, +1 970-454-1700. Based on the available customer reviews, Eaton Animal Den appears to provide compassionate care, particularly during sensitive times such as end-of-life situations. However, one review indicates a significant limitation regarding their handling of emergencies.

One heartfelt review expresses immense gratitude to the team at Eaton Animal Den for the "care and compassion" shown during the difficult experience of saying goodbye to their beloved pet, Chikis. The reviewer notes that the staff's "kindness and empathy" made a significant difference during this incredibly hard moment. They highlighted that Chikis was treated with "such tenderness and respect," and the staff ensured that the owners felt supported throughout the process. The "gentle approach and genuine care" brought them much comfort, and they expressed being "forever grateful for the love and dignity" given to their pet in her final moments. This review strongly suggests that Eaton Animal Den provides a supportive and empathetic environment for routine care and especially during the emotional process of euthanasia, indicating a caring and considerate approach to their patients and clients in certain circumstances.

In stark contrast, another review paints a very different picture, advising others to "stay away from this place," particularly in the event of any kind of emergency. This reviewer recounted a distressing situation where their Fox Hound was bitten by a rattlesnake. Their regular horse clinic was willing to deliver antivenom to Eaton Animal Den, but allegedly, Eaton Animal Den responded that they "don't want to deal with it." The reviewer expressed their frustration that the "first clinic off the ranches and homes east doesn't service emergencies," labeling it a "waste of retail space." They further speculated about the clinic's capacity to handle complications during routine procedures. This review strongly suggests that Eaton Animal Den has limitations in handling emergency cases, which is a critical consideration for local pet owners who may encounter such situations.

Based on these two contrasting reviews, the environment at Eaton Animal Den seems to be one where the staff provides compassionate and tender care, especially in non-emergency situations and during end-of-life care. However, there is a significant concern raised about their willingness or ability to handle emergencies, which could be a major drawback for pet owners needing urgent care.

The services offered at Eaton Animal Den, based on the customer feedback, appear to include:

  • Routine veterinary care (implied by the comment about not likely killing pets with routine care).
  • Compassionate end-of-life services, including euthanasia.

However, it is explicitly suggested that they do not handle emergencies, particularly those requiring immediate intervention like rattlesnake bites, and potentially may not be equipped for more complex or urgent cases.

The features of Eaton Animal Den, as highlighted by the customer experiences, include:

  • Compassionate Staff: Recognized for their kindness, empathy, tenderness, and respect, especially during difficult times like saying goodbye to a pet.

However, a significant limitation appears to be:

  • Lack of Emergency Services: At least in one instance, they declined to handle an emergency case, raising concerns about their capacity for urgent care.

Currently, there is no promotional information available in the provided reviews. For any information on wellness plans, discounts, or other promotions, it would be necessary to contact Eaton Animal Den directly.

In conclusion, Eaton Animal Den in Eaton, CO, seems to be a "Pet Hospital" where you can expect compassionate and supportive care for routine matters and during end-of-life situations. The staff is commended for their kindness and empathy. However, it is critical for local users to be aware of the reported limitation in handling emergencies. If you are looking for a clinic primarily for routine care and value a gentle and compassionate approach, Eaton Animal Den might be a suitable choice. However, if you require a "Pet Hospital" that can handle emergencies, you may need to consider other options in the area. It would be prudent to discuss their emergency protocols and capabilities directly with the clinic to make an informed decision about your pet's care.

If I could give a negative score, I would. Stay away from this place. They probably won't kill your dog or cat with routine care, but don't come in with ANY kind of emergency. Our Fox Hound was bit by a rattlesnake today. Our wonderful Horse Clinc was willing to deliver antivenom to this clinic. Do you know what they told our horse clinic? We don't want to deal with it. Our horse clinic would have helped had all the vets not been on call. We are now in Windsor at Royal Vista ER. Dutch has made it so far. He doesn't, and I truly will blame Eaton Animal Den. :::::In answer to your response: It is sad the first clinic off the ranches and homes east doesn't service emergencies. What a waste of retail space. So, your animal goes south during a routine procedure? Better hope they can go home the same day with Animal Den. Also, my large animal clinic would have no reason to lie about your response. Sorry, but you look very bad on this one.

Both of my animals got surgery here in the last 2 days and the staff and the doctor were amazing. I'm very grateful to them

I want to give a shout out to the Eaton animal den. I have been going to them for many years. And they’ve always been so nice and caring. They make you and your animals feel so welcome. The animals are top priority. I Have contacted them numerous times when I have an emergency and they always seem to work me in. They also give me advice over the phone so I don’t have to come in which I much appreciate. When my little pug passed away back in December, they were so compassionate and caring I couldn’t have asked for better support anywhere. In my opinion, they are the best and I will continue using them.
