Our almost 16 year old Pomeranian wasn't feeling well. Our animals go to this clinic, but Princess hasn't been seen for a while. This clinic is very professional and caring, both the Dr's we saw were fantastic. I had to call the clinic today and tell them it was time for Princess to be put down. They did it and it was amazing. The vet was caring for Princess and us as well. I would recommend this clinic to anyone!!

Based on customer reviews, experiences at this clinic appear to vary, with some pet owners highlighting compassionate care and professionalism, while others express concerns regarding cleanliness and the handling of appointments and potential cross-contamination.

The environment of Eastside Veterinary Associates - Kirkland, based on one customer's account, was described as "unclean," specifically in the exam rooms. This reviewer also noted a lack of observed sanitization of equipment between patients, which raises concerns about hygiene protocols. However, another customer described the clinic as "very professional and caring," suggesting that experiences may differ. It is important for pet owners to consider these varying perspectives when evaluating the clinic environment.

Eastside Veterinary Associates - Kirkland offers a range of veterinary services, as indicated by the reasons for the customer visits mentioned in the reviews. These services likely include:

  • General Veterinary Care: The clinic handles routine check-ups and addresses various health concerns, such as ear infections.
  • Diagnostic Services: The mention of a "culture swab" being taken suggests that the clinic offers some level of diagnostic testing to identify the cause of ailments.
  • Medication Dispensing (In-house Pharmacy): The clinic sells medications directly to clients, implying the presence of an on-site pharmacy. This offers convenience for pet owners to obtain prescribed treatments immediately after consultation.
  • Euthanasia Services: One heartfelt review praised the clinic for its compassionate and supportive approach during the difficult time of putting a beloved pet down, indicating that end-of-life care is among their services.
  • Urgent Care: The fact that a pet owner brought their cat in for an "absolutely infected" ear suggests the clinic handles urgent, non-emergency health issues.

Features of Eastside Veterinary Associates - Kirkland, as perceived by customers, present a mixed picture:

  • Professionalism and Caring Staff: One reviewer described the clinic as "very professional and caring," and specifically praised the doctors and the handling of their pet's euthanasia. Another mentioned a kind and attentive nurse/technician.
  • Aloof or Rushed Doctor Interaction: In contrast, another reviewer found the veterinarian to be "aloof" and felt the consultation was rushed, with a primary focus on selling medications.
  • Upfront Appointment Costs: One customer noted a requirement to pay an upfront fee to secure an appointment, a practice they found unusual compared to other clinics.
  • Concerns about Cleanliness and Cross-Contamination: A significant concern raised by one reviewer was the perceived lack of cleanliness in exam rooms and the potential for cross-contamination due to unhygienic equipment handling.

The reviews for Eastside Veterinary Associates - Kirkland offer a range of experiences. This speaks to a potentially strong bond and positive history with the clinic for some pet owners.

However, another recent customer reported significant concerns regarding the cleanliness of the facility and the potential transmission of an upper respiratory infection to their cat, which subsequently affected their other senior cats at home. This negative experience underscores the importance of hygiene in veterinary settings and the potential impact on vulnerable animals.

The difference in these experiences suggests that while some aspects of the clinic, such as compassionate end-of-life care, may be commendable, other areas, such as cleanliness and the thoroughness of consultations, may need improvement. My cat came in for an ear infection and left with an upper respiratory infection that infected my 2 delicate senior cats at home. I came to this vet as a new resident to the area and worried about my cat's ear because it was absolutely infected and scratched up since he kept picking at it over time. We took him to this location since it was the closest one to our home and had to pay an up front cost of $110 to secure the appointment- something other practices do not do. Once at the clinic I was very unimpressed by the cleanliness and the Vet/ Dr. specifically. The nurse/ tech that handled my cat was kind and attentive however the doctor was very much aloof during the visit. She did not directly specify his diagnosis and go into detail as to what could cause it and what to look forward to and sort of rushed straight into purchasing meds from them. The only time she took the time to discuss the diagnosis is when we declined the gabepentin because my cat did not exhibit signs of anxiety or pain, however the doctor came in amd stressed that the ear infections would cause severe discomfort and finally explained the findings of the culture swab. Less than one week later my cat started wheezing and snorting and spitting our buggers from his nose. This increased to sneezing and runny eyes with discharge. In my cat's entire life he has never has asthma or allergies or been so stressed that he "activated" something hidden within (as the next vet we went to implied) I took my cat to a different clinic and they confirmed that my cat has an upper respiratory infection and provided treatment. Now BOTH my senior cats that have delicate health are sneezing and wheezing and I KNOW it's from this clinic's unclean exam rooms and muzzle/ equipment used for my cat. I did not observe them clean it before putting it on my cat and they didn't clean it after they removed it from him. I am so disappointed. I will not recommend this place and will continue to share my story.

I have been bringing my older cat here for years and last year added another cat to my little family who has been seen here as well. I'm an exotics/ER LVT for 10 years myself but I don't want to be the tech for my own cats. I get too anxious. The whole team here takes such good care of my cats and are so knowledgeable. It puts my mind at ease and helps with my own anxiety to know they are in good, knowledgeable and experienced hands. Dr Allodi and the whole team are so wonderful taking care of my older cat Jet who has dental issues. My younger cat Puffin came to me as a stray with a few issues and needed a surgery on a broken leg when I got her. Dr Allodi gave me some really good exercises to help strengthen her leg after her surgery. My girls will continue to be seen here as long as they are open. Thank you everyone at Eastside Vet Associates for all of your wonderful care and compassion 馃挋馃挋馃挋

I just brought my dog and 2 cats in for a wellness exam and vaccines. I am always amazed at how thorough the doctors are and how committed they are to my pets' health and well-being. This visit we reviewed everything from proactive dental care to my dog's high stress from getting her nails trimmed. I would definitely recommend Eastside Veterinary Associates to anyone who considers their pets a part of their family.
