Eastern Shore Animal Hospital

I came in to bring my partner’s dog in since he couldn’t make the appointment. The ladies at the desk were super nice and the vet assistants were polite but shy and unsure of how to do things. When I saw the vet dr. Daniel Peck was rude and seemed inconvenienced by the appointment almost (I felt rushed to answer and just listen). He had 2 vet assistants (probably new), he asked them to put her on the table i offered how they should pick her up or i could do it. instead he replied to me oh we know what we are doing and only one lady picked the dog up and when she got her on the table he simply said you have another person here let them help after it was too late for her to help. He asked about the medication so I told him what my partner told me to tell them and he said “what does that have to do with the medication” I told him i don’t know I was told to tell you this and he was like well you’re wrong it’s from the shot we gave her (I had no idea they previously gave her a cortisone shot) and acted as if I should know and was inconvenienced by this “unnecessary” info. He was argumentative with me and talked down to staff. When he said he was going to give her a shot, he told the assistant to get out of the way as she was in his way. One of the staff even asked me if I would come back to give my partners dog the Lyme booster she even noticed I was uncomfortable. Overall my partner said he had no problem with the dr before and they let him put them up on the table. He said they’ve always been friendly with him and he only had Daniel once with no problem either. Not sure what was different here but worst customer service from him. There’s a way to explain things to people and not be condescending and rude.

Dropped my dog off to get neutered, picked him up to be surprised with a whopping bill. They took it upon themselves to pull his teeth… no authorization whatsoever. That’s not okay, should be illegal to make money off people like that. Never went back!

Today was my first time, and I was a little skeptical after reading some of these reviews, HOWEVER I recommend everyone check it out and form their own opinion because they did an absolute fabulous job!! And on top of that my dog with terrible anxiety absolutely LOVES them!!! Thank you again eastern shore animal hospital!!

The staff is so kind and helpful. They get us in very quickly, sometimes the same day. Their boarding service is affordable, and who doesn't feel confident that their furbaby will be ok in the hands of their vet?

Love love this animal hospital. Staff is so sweet with my Service Dog Collin’s. They get him right in when needed. He had to have surgery cause he tore his ACL and they did a great job.
