East Riverside Veterinary Hospital

Have been with this practice since my first baby came into my life in 2004. Dr. Teresa helped walk her home in 2018, and Dr. Becca just walked another baby home this past week. This practice is the real deal, great docs, warm and caring, there to support you through your entire lifetime with your beloved.

Brought our dog here for years. Great staff and vets. We had to put him to sleep a few days ago and they were so kind. Staff came in to give our doggo chicken and kisses. The vet was amazing and they have a comfort room where you can lay with your baby. Love them for life!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place and their staff! My husband and I were in New Orleans for the weekend with our incredibly special cat, Elton, who had well-controlled heart disease. He went in to heart failure seemingly being okay one minute and not the next, which was terrifying and something we had never experienced before. Everyone was so helpful and kind and even though they aren’t an emergency clinic they have extended weekend hours and took us in having never cared for our cat before. The vet, Allison Poche, was so comforting giving me hope that heart failure did not mean the end and there were still things we could do for him. In my opinion they went above and beyond calling me throughout the weekend to update me on his progress (as he had to be admitted overnight and stay in an oxygen chamber). I am so late in writing this review, it has been over a year since our visit to east riverside vet, but I am thrilled to report that he is still with us doing incredibly well given the circumstances. Our regular vet was so impressed with the care he received when we brought him to her when we got back in town to get everything checked (as recommended). I am forever grateful to Dr. Poche and the rest of the staff for responding so quickly and being so skilled and knowledgeable, as well as for their compassion and true care. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area!

The staff and Dr. Jenna at East Riverside quite literally saved our cat’s life. They were friendly, kept us updated and provided our kitty with the best care. Nola says, “thank you East Riverside!”.

Our experience at East Riverside (Thor and Tessa Scarlett) is the greatest. The care Thor and Tessa receive is awesome. They are happy to get there and even happier when they are picked up. We've been thru alot and having Dr. Allison and the crew there when you need them has been very special to me. I'm so happy I stumbled upon a great location to help me with my pets need. Hats off to the entire crew. The ladies at the front desk are so helpful and professional. Keep up the great work. The experience and knowledge is worth the investment. Only one hick up; they spoil your pets.

Our two dogs get the best care here. Everyone on the staff is friendly and helpful. The docs and techs are lovely. At every visit they take time to explain and recommend. It is a beautiful facility. We are so fortunate to have it close by.
