We recently lost our beloved little Yorkie. Johnny was 13 years old when we had to put him down. Cancer took our poor little guy. We just wanted to say, we love the care and attention we've always received from Dr. Diaz and his entire staff. Everyone has such a caring and helpful manner. During the last week of Johnny's life, he was having trouble breathing and his rear legs were not always strong enough to hold him up. He wasn't eating well either. He slept most of the day and night so we brought him in to the office. Dr. Christina Fugedy and Jenny, veterinary technician, were wonderful as they examined him. Not only were they gentle, caring and loving to Johnny, they also treated us in the same way. His condition was not good at all. We all discussed his condition and felt it wouldn't be fair to Johnny to try to keep him going, so we made that dreaded decision. It's so difficult to lose a family member as Johnny was, but Dr. Christina and Jenny made it much easier. We thank you all so very much. Love, Ron and Kathy Bond

Nov 26, 2024 · Ron BondPassing through Georgia from California. In the process of acquiring a pet travel Health Certificate to Spain. USDA Accredited vet is required. It's a process and the airline requires a 10-day prior to pet travel vet signature. Confusing at first. Met with the owner Dr Diaz and one of the team, Juliette. He was very friendly and helpful. A reputable veterinarian doctor. Everything worked out well. The animal hospital is in a great location here in Marietta. It's very clean and in a pretty house-like setting. Juliette is exceptional with a friendly personality. I told her she's got excellent people skills. Interpersonal skills are an asset for any customer relations. They're fortunate to have her there! Update: Thank you, Jill for helping us get Beau to Barcelona.

Apr 15, 2024 · Richelle BrownMy kids love East Marietta Animal Hospital! Even after 16 years! Dr. Diaz, Dr. Fugedy and the whole staff are wonderful! They take such good care of my fur kids and are very reasonably priced too.
Jul 27, 2022 · Tricia ClementsAfter several negative experiences with another local vet, we decided to give East Marietta Animal Hospital (EMAH) a try. The day after I forwarded over my 4 furbabies’ records my 6 year old cat had a seizure out of nowhere. Though she could not be seen that day (Saturday), EMAH recommended an emergency vet. When I brought my cat in for follow up the following week, they ran additional tests to see what was wrong. The tests cost almost HALF what I’d paid for blood tests at my previous vet. (Still not cheap, but I realized how much I’d been overpaying.) EMAH is very responsive to emails. I emailed recently to ask about euthanasia for my almost 15 year old dog and the office manager responded the same day in an extremely compassionate and sensitive way to explain my options. The office is noticeably clean and well maintained. The entire staff is very friendly and patient. I would highly recommend this veterinarian to my friends and family.
