I wish I could give zero stars. I brought my dog here because my dogs skin was in bad condition & he also had what I believe was an ear infection. Mind u I’ve been treating/managing his skin at home with the help of google & youtube because vets are so expensive & unreliable information wise. So I’m a bit familiar with skin allergies yeast dermatitis hormonal imbalances etc..However I wanted him looked at by a “professional”. I waited over an hour to be seen just for her to waste my time & take my money. Her assistant tried to rush me through my appointment & was extremely rude. I waited over an hour to be seen & those appointments aren’t cheap. In the end I ended up with some ointment for his ears not even ear drops & nothing for his skin. Anything pertaining to your dogs skin she has no real answers for. At best vaccines are all she’s good at. She kept referring to google which is something I could’ve done at home. I’m paying u for your expertise not to hop on google. Overall I’m very disappointed & dissatisfied & expressed that to her. These appointments are too expensive to be so mediocre. I’ve educated myself on my dogs skin just so vets can’t take advantage of me & waste my time & money, once she realized that she referred me to a dermatologist. Why even except a skin related appointment If u don’t have the knowledge? I wouldn’t allow her to bullshit me & once she realized that she tried to get me out of there as quick as possible. If your dog has skin related issues I don’t recommend.

East Charleston Animal Hospital Introduce

Welcome to an introduction of East Charleston Animal Hospital, a pet hospital located at 629 S 6th St, Las Vegas, NV 89101, USA. As a local establishment categorized under Pet Hospitals, East Charleston Animal Hospital aims to provide veterinary services and potentially offer related goods for the health and well-being of pets in the Las Vegas community. They can be contacted at (702) 386-0901 or via their mobile number +1 702-386-0901.

Based on the available customer reviews, the experiences at East Charleston Animal Hospital appear to be varied. One review expresses significant dissatisfaction with the service received, particularly concerning the handling of a dog's skin condition and a suspected ear infection. The reviewer recounts a long wait time, perceived rushed consultation by an assistant, and ultimately, a lack of effective treatment for the skin issue. The reviewer felt that the veterinarian lacked expertise in dermatological matters, even resorting to suggesting online research, which the owner had already undertaken. This negative experience raises concerns about the hospital's handling of specific health issues and the perceived value of their consultations. The reviewer concluded that the hospital might be better suited for routine procedures like vaccinations and expressed disappointment with the overall experience, especially given the cost of the appointment.

In contrast, another review offers a positive perspective, highlighting the "great staff" and specifically praising Dr. Julie Ylarde as "amazing." This reviewer appreciates the consistency of having a single veterinarian who remembers their pet's history, provides thorough explanations, and offers realistic treatment plans. The sentiment expressed is one of trust and satisfaction, indicating a positive experience with Dr. Ylarde's care and communication style. This contrasting feedback suggests that individual experiences at East Charleston Animal Hospital can differ significantly, potentially depending on the specific veterinarian seen and the nature of the pet's health concerns.

Given the conflicting reviews, it is challenging to definitively describe the environment of East Charleston Animal Hospital. The negative review mentions a long wait time, which could suggest a busy clinic or potential scheduling issues. However, it does not provide details about the cleanliness, comfort, or overall atmosphere of the facility. The positive review focuses more on the quality of the staff and the veterinarian's approach rather than the physical environment. Therefore, local users may need to visit the clinic or seek further information to form their own impression of the hospital's ambiance and facilities.

Regarding the services offered at East Charleston Animal Hospital, the available reviews provide some limited insights. The negative review indicates that the hospital offers consultations for skin conditions and ear infections, as well as dispensing treatments like ointments. However, the reviewer felt the advice for the skin issue was inadequate and that the ear treatment was not optimal (preferring ear drops over ointment). The positive review does not detail specific services but implies a comprehensive approach to veterinary care, given the veterinarian's ability to remember a pet's history and explain treatments. It is reasonable to assume that, as a "Pet Hospital," East Charleston Animal Hospital offers a range of standard veterinary services, which typically include general check-ups, vaccinations, parasite prevention, diagnostics, and treatment for illnesses and injuries. The mention of a referral to a dermatologist in the negative review suggests that the hospital may recognize its limitations in certain specialized areas and is willing to direct clients to appropriate specialists. To obtain a complete list of services provided, local users are advised to contact the hospital directly.

Based on the mixed feedback, identifying specific features of East Charleston Animal Hospital requires careful consideration. A potential feature, highlighted in the positive review, is the consistency of care provided by Dr. Julie Ylarde, who takes the time to remember a pet's history and communicate effectively with owners. This personalized approach could be a significant benefit for clients seeking a strong veterinarian-client-patient relationship. However, the negative review raises concerns about the expertise in certain areas, such as dermatology, and the overall efficiency and client service experienced during the visit. Therefore, a balanced perspective suggests that while some clients may experience attentive and knowledgeable care from specific staff members, others may encounter limitations in certain service areas and dissatisfaction with the overall experience.

Currently, the provided information does not include any specific promotional details for East Charleston Animal Hospital. Veterinary hospitals sometimes offer introductory discounts for new clients or seasonal promotions on specific services. Local users interested in any potential promotions or new client specials are advised to contact the hospital directly or check their website or social media channels, if available.

As a "Pet Hospital," it is also probable that East Charleston Animal Hospital offers a selection of pet-related goods for sale. This may include prescription medications, veterinary-specific diets, and preventative products against parasites. The availability of such goods can provide convenience for pet owners. However, the specific types of goods offered by East Charleston Animal Hospital are not detailed in the provided information.

In conclusion, East Charleston Animal Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, presents a mixed picture based on the available customer reviews. While one reviewer praises the "great staff" and the personalized care provided by Dr. Julie Ylarde, another expresses significant dissatisfaction with the handling of a specific health issue, long wait times, and perceived lack of expertise in dermatology. These contrasting experiences highlight the importance for local users to consider these perspectives when choosing a veterinary care provider. Potential clients may want to inquire specifically about the hospital's expertise in their pet's particular health concerns and perhaps seek further testimonials or information to make an informed decision about whether East Charleston Animal Hospital meets their needs.

They have great staff. Dr. Julie Ylarde is amazing. It's nice to come to a place where there's only one Vet who remembers everything about your pet and is fantastic at explaining things and being realistic about treatment. We love this vet!

Dr Julie is the best when you need help for your pet. She was amazing with both my boys- she knows what she is doing and has a very friendly way of treating them. She doesn’t confuse me with a lot of professional jargon and talks with me about treatment, not just at me like some professionals tend to do. I highly recommend her for both emergency and routine visits! Thank you so much for being such a wonderful doctor to my precious boys!

Dr Julie is truly one of a kind! Her genuine compassion for animals speaks volumes and I am so thankful to have found her. I visited 2 other vets prior to finding her, and no one could give me answers regarding my dogs condition. She found the problem on my first visit and got her scheduled for surgery within the week. You can tell she genuinely cares for the well being of her clients and their pets this was the most refreshing experience. Would recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Julie and her staff are truly amazing... Immediately I felt I was right where my cat Diva and I needed to be... She explained the issue and treated my cat and even gave me medication to take home in the event my fur baby needed more and all at a great rate... Thank you so much and I'm proud to be a part of the East Charleston Animal Hospital family 🐾🐾🐱🐱😺
