Beyond general practice, it is reasonable to infer they offer diagnostic services such as in-house laboratory testing (blood work, urinalysis, fecal analysis) and imaging (X-rays, ultrasound) to aid in accurate diagnoses. Surgical procedures, including routine spays and neuters, as well as soft tissue surgeries, would typically be part of their offerings. Dental care, crucial for overall pet health, would also be provided. May 03, 2025 · Mirian Carolina Castro UmanzorI've been coming to East Boston Animal Hospital for over a decade. Dr. Chopra is the best! He is very thorough, knowledgable, and always takes great care of my senior cat, Nermal. The reception staff is lovely. They always try their best to accommodate last minute/emergency visits when they can.
Mar 31, 2025 · Bryn BurkeDr. Sawyer is an incredible veterinarian. He's honest, up front and knows his stuff. He's also very compassionate and loving with the animals he sees. Would recommend him very highly...he took excellent care of my cat at the time of her visit
Dec 09, 2024 · Michele BostromI cannot recommend this clinic - please read to understand why. I went to this vet for 8 years, but unfortunately, my experience declined significantly over time. I switched vets this month. They increasingly pushed for unnecessary treatments and procedures, making it a constant battle to get third-party prescriptions filled without countless emails and phone calls (they only want you to buy from them). At one point, they put my dog through kidney and liver treatments for my perfectly healthy dog (almost 1k in treatment and tests later...) —something my new vet has confirmed was completely unwarranted. For years, they tried to scare me into believing my dog urgently needed to go under anesthesia for dental cleaning, making it sound critical and inevitable. They preyed on my love for my dog to push this unnecessary procedure. However, my new vet reassured me that she only has mild tartar (like most animals), which is easily treatable at home, and there’s absolutely no cause for concern. I’m so relieved I got a second opinion. I should have trusted my instincts earlier. Now, with my new vet, I see how a compassionate and ethical practice truly operates. It’s disheartening to reflect on what this clinic is doing. I strongly advise anyone considering this vet to seek a second opinion before spending hundreds of dollars on unnecessary treatments and tests. I cannot recommend this clinic.
Jan 13, 2025 · Merisa AjaziAs others have said. I cannot leave this place with a good review after the dr. Kept pushing dental work on me and my dog. After telling me he gave her antibiotics. Rehydration. And PAIN MEDS. Seeing my dog hrs later hallucinating and calling another dr and listing off the meds they gave her at east boston.....no pain meds were listed. She had rat poison the whole time and this dr pushed other tests and insisted it was dental work needing to be done after shoving wooden spoons in her mouth. My dog went through hours of pain and I can not ever get over the fact this dr blamed me for marijuana(none in my house) amd then after his "thorough" dental exam said that was his diagnosis. And then tell me meds were given and they were not. Thanks for the bill though. Hope this place gets shut down.
