Dundee Animal Hospital of Algonquin

The staff here from the front desk to the assistants to the veterinarians all treat your fuzzy babies with love, care, support, and understanding. I have cats that don’t care much for the carrier and the visit. The doctors that see my cats are like cat whisperers. They manage to get everything done in a way that calms my cat (and me too). So grateful for Dundee Animal Hospital. Don’t look anywhere else.

I've known Dundee A. Hospital for more than 25 yrs. & have always received the utmost care for my dogs & cats. From the front desk, to the doctors. I thank them for their love of animals and their gift of vetinarian medicine. Thankyou all!

Great vets office. From front desk receptionist to the vets, they are all so friendly and puts you and your pups at ease. I take both my pups there and always receive the best care ever! I would recommend anyone looking for a vets office to go here.

You guys are absolutely the best. Dr. O'Brien has treated our pets for maybe 30 years+ starting with our first doberman Marley that we had to put down. She knows me like a book, and knows my thoughts, etc. which makes us fit like peanut butter and jelly. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Wouldn't consider any other place or Dr. except back in Sept but we had no choice LOL. You know what I mean Doc.

I cannot recommend Dundee Animal Hospital of Algonquin enough. Dr. O'Brien Jungels cared for my cockatiel (who has been suffering from a chronic sinus infection for some time) and I have seen a drastic improvement in my bird's health. The Doctor was knowledgeable, patient, and came up with a comprehensive and realistic treatment plan (both long and immediate term) and examined my bird in the room with me (my previous veterinarian rarely would examine my birds while I was present due to lack of examination rooms) Appointment time was very prompt and I was taken care of right away--at my old vet, I would be at the appointment for a minimum of 3 hours due to their caseload (with no check ins or updates on queue/triage status) All in all, this was night and day from my past experiences, and I am so grateful to have found a new vet for my birds! Thank you so much!

We are sad to be leaving Dundee after nearly 10 years of great care of our cat. He died and we adopted two kittens. I set up their first yearly exam with them and then I received an email saying they had a discount for Pet Wellness Day on the day before their exams. I called and they couldn’t honor the discount for the day after so I moved the appointments to the day of the discount. Today I received a call to say they can’t give me the discount because they are “new patients.” I was told I would also have to move the appointments again. Seriously? I told them we had been with them for 10 years but the receptionist wouldn’t budge at all. There are too many other good vets in the area to get that kind of bait and switch. Too bad because we like Dr. Kamholz.

GREATEST ANIMAL HOSPITAL EVER The staff is kind and friendly and very welcoming. Dr.O’Brien is great she took the time to get to know my GSD and develop as close to a great relationship a dog can have with his vet😆. They have taken care of three of my dogs for me and I would recommend them to anyone who loves their pet.
