Helpful staff and an overall wonderful practice. Explained risks and full range of treatment options when my girl Kaylee was bitten by a copperhead and was struggling. Dr. Livesay was very patient and understanding of how concerned I was for her and made sure she got the best care possible. I can’t praise her highly enough, honestly. And Kaylee (though anxious at any vet office) thinks she’s pretty great too!

They seemed to be more concerned with the cost/payment rather than the care of my dog. I paid $92.10 for an examination and pain meds rather than a complete work up. They said she has a torn ligament, it was going to be $174 for an X-ray to be included. They also said by law they were required to give her the rabies vaccine since I didn't have her records with me and did not again because I didn't have the $174.. I have received better care for her elsewhere & for less and more affordable costs.

This vet has always been so good with my dogs. She goes out of her way to make my dogs feel safe and comfortable and also the prices are very reasonable.

Review from a former long time employee. I recently had to have a revision surgery on my cat. He had both eyes supposedly removed almost 2 years ago, and in that time one socket would always swell back up with fluid and cause him discomfort and nasal discharge. Several times I brought up this concern to Dr. Livesay who would offer an antibiotic injection and nothing else, or would try to make me feel like I was overreacting and that this was a totally normal thing. I took him in for the exploratory surgery a few weeks ago only to find that one of his eyes was never actually removed, and that was causing the swelling in his socket. The original surgery was done while I was not at work and was assured that both eyes were removed, when she in fact had just sewn one lid closed with the eyeball still inside. For almost 2 years he suffered from monthly swelling and discomfort only to find that my employer had lied about the services done with no remorse or care for the overall well being of a patient.

Price was very high to have 2 dogs spayed. 300 per dog they were suppose to keep dogs overnight but decided they didn't want to deal with it and i had to pick them up that day. I should have called some place else cause after it was done I found a vet that would have only charged 80 dollars a dog. Sorry but will never go there again.
