If I could give zero stars I would. Called to make oncology appointment based on my vets recommendation. Called the office and they had a same day appointment that I took since my dogs is not doing well. We wait in the waiting room 30 minutes because the vet is behind. The tech comes out and tells us they won’t see my dog without notes from my vet. He was just diagnosed the day prior and why would the staff schedule me and let us wait 30 minutes. They could have asked for us to get records while waiting. Not sure they can’t see my dog and at least get a history from us. Instead just turned away like his cancer doesn’t matter.

When another vet suggested we put our dog down, we did the opposite and paid for an emergency surgery to remove a liter of blood from his abdomen. We then sought out Dr. Glawe who provided a thoughtful plan of care. With chemo, ongoing checkups, and the use of an experimental mushroom medication advised by the University of Pennsylvania, we had two extra years with our little guy. I’m forever grateful to Dr. Glawe for her help.
