Armaiti May is a rare veterinarian who cares so much about animals that her amazing slogan is “I don’t eat my patients”. She spayed my bunny Peta. I trust her with all my heart with my companions. Besides doing an excellent operation she called & messaged multiple times to check on Peta till I gave her ok for her full recovery which happened very fast. I’ve had a negative experience with another veterinarian years ago when she spayed my cats and left their wounds almost open with terrible stitching. Armaiti’s care, compassion & professional demeanor makes her always #1 veterinarian for me. Thanks again Dr. Armaiti May ❤️

Welcome to Dr. May's Veterinary House Calls

For pet owners in Los Angeles, California, seeking a unique and highly personalized approach to veterinary care, **Dr. May's Veterinary House Calls** offers a distinctive alternative to traditional brick-and-mortar "Pet Hospitals." Led by the highly regarded **Dr. Armaiti May**, this practice specializes in bringing comprehensive veterinary services directly to your home, located at **1535 S Sepulveda Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90025, USA**. This mobile model, supported by contact numbers **(310) 614-3530** and **+1 310-614-3530**, caters to pets and owners who benefit from the comfort and convenience of in-home care.

The core environment of Dr. May's Veterinary House Calls is your own home, which immediately addresses several common stressors associated with traditional veterinary visits. For many pets, the car ride to the clinic, the unfamiliar smells and sounds of a waiting room, and the presence of other animals can induce significant anxiety. By providing care in a familiar setting, Dr. May aims to create a less stressful and more relaxed experience for her animal patients. This allows for a more accurate assessment of a pet's health and behavior, as they are observed in their natural environment. For pet owners, the convenience of not having to transport their pets, especially those who are anxious, elderly, or have mobility issues, is a significant advantage. It also eliminates wait times in a clinic, allowing for a more efficient use of the owner's time. The focus is on a calm, personalized interaction where the veterinarian can dedicate undivided attention to the pet and their guardian.

Dr. May's Veterinary House Calls provides a wide range of veterinary services, typically those that can be performed without the need for extensive in-clinic equipment. These services are designed to offer comprehensive care within the home setting. They include **wellness exams** and **consultations**, which are fundamental for maintaining pet health and discussing any concerns. **Vaccinations** and **deworming** are routinely administered to protect against common diseases and parasites. Dr. May is equipped to perform **blood tests** as needed, allowing for in-depth diagnostic analysis without a clinic visit. She manages various **medical conditions** in small animals, such as diabetes, arthritis, and hypothyroidism, and can prescribe necessary medications. Beyond conventional Western medicine, Dr. May offers an **integrative approach** to veterinary care, incorporating modalities like **acupuncture** and **Chinese herbs**, for which she has specialized training from the Chi Institute of Chinese Medicine. She also provides guidance on **homeopathy** and **laser therapy** when indicated. While complex diagnostics like radiographs (X-rays) and all surgeries require referral to a fully equipped animal hospital, Dr. May does perform **routine surgeries** such as spays, castrations, and mass removals, as well as managing more difficult cases such as traumatic injuries and toxin exposures, referring to a hospital when necessary. A particularly sensitive service offered is **in-home euthanasia**, providing a peaceful and dignified end-of-life experience for beloved pets in the comfort of their own environment. She also offers **behavioral counseling** to address common pet behavioral issues.

The features that distinguish Dr. May's Veterinary House Calls are deeply rooted in her unique philosophy and approach to animal welfare. Foremost among these is her **profound compassion and dedication to animals**, exemplified by her slogan, "I don’t eat my patients." This reflects her commitment to a **vegan lifestyle and animal advocacy**, which extends to her professional practice. She actively counsels guardians on how to safely feed **vegan and vegetarian diets to their companion dogs and cats**, emphasizing health benefits and necessary considerations. This progressive philosophy resonates strongly with clients who share similar ethical views. Another significant feature is her **integrative veterinary approach**, seamlessly blending Western medicine with Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM), including acupuncture and herbal remedies. This holistic perspective offers a broader range of treatment options, especially for chronic conditions or pain management, often providing alternatives or complements to conventional treatments. Clients consistently praise Dr. May's **thoroughness and exceptional follow-up care**. As one review highlights, "Besides doing an excellent operation she called & messaged multiple times to check on Peta till I gave her ok for her full recovery which happened very fast." This level of post-operative attention and genuine concern for a pet's recovery is a rare and highly valued aspect of her service. Furthermore, the **personalized attention** offered by a house call veterinarian is a key differentiator. The ability to focus solely on one patient at a time, without the distractions of a busy clinic, allows for a more in-depth examination and discussion with the pet owner. Her **professional demeanor and excellent surgical skills** are also highly praised, with one client contrasting a previous negative surgical experience with Dr. May's "excellent operation" and "terrible stitching" comparison being starkly in Dr. May's favor. Dr. May's background, including her DVM from UC Davis and extensive volunteer work in animal welfare, further underpins her expertise and dedication.

While Dr. May's Veterinary House Calls primarily emphasizes personalized, high-quality care rather than volume-driven promotions, her approach to veterinary medicine itself can be seen as a form of value proposition. The convenience of house calls, which saves pet owners time and reduces pet stress, is inherently a benefit. Although specific discounted services or promotional packages are not explicitly detailed in the provided information, the unique blend of conventional and alternative therapies could be considered a form of specialized offering. Her commitment to animal advocacy and counseling on vegan diets also acts as a promotional aspect for pet owners interested in ethical and holistic pet care. For information on potential pricing structures, package deals for multiple pets, or any current initiatives, directly contacting Dr. May's Veterinary House Calls via phone at **(310) 614-3530** would be the most effective way to inquire. Given her dedication to client relationships and comprehensive care, any promotions would likely be designed to support ongoing pet wellness and ensure accessibility to her specialized services.

In conclusion, Dr. May's Veterinary House Calls represents a distinctive "Pet Hospital" model in Los Angeles, prioritizing convenience, personalized care, and a deeply compassionate, integrative, and advocacy-driven approach to veterinary medicine. Her commitment to animals, from her ethical stance on diet to her meticulous post-operative follow-up, sets her apart. For pet owners who value a stress-free environment, holistic treatment options, and a veterinarian who is truly invested in animal welfare, Dr. May's Veterinary House Calls offers a compelling and highly recommended choice for their beloved companions.

She's got a heart of gold and God bless her I hope she can get the Lost Angeles Inhumane Society and Non Human Animal Over Control, to wake up and go vegan for those in their custody, and their own mouths too. All animals, including ones our species blindly chooses not to include in the moral community including the ones in their care/control. Go vegan for ALL animals. Even "obligate carnivores" live healthier and longer on a well balanced source plant based diet, with clean plant sourced proteins, vs gmo dieseased drugged carcasses of the tortured. Try Evolution pet food, V-dog, Halo vegan pet food. Stop the moral schizophrenia go vegan. Great vet...learn from her, support the work of a great human.
