I can only sing high praises about all of the staff! Had a sick puppy and was turned away from far too many vet clinics who claim to do emergent care. They do, IF you are already a client but refused to help me. I called Dr. Budreeau's office and they were immediately willing to see me and my puppy with the hour. They took a thorough exam, discussed his care with me in detail and in a way I could understand. The entire staff treated my pup like he was golden and precious. They treated me with respect for my fears and concerns. They are amazing and the only vet I will use from here on out!

Welcome to Dr. Julie Budreau

Welcome to the local introduction of Dr. Julie Budreau's veterinary practice, a Pet Hospital located at 4132 S Hudson Rd, Cedar Falls, IA 50613, USA. You can contact them at (319) 988-4760 or their mobile number +1 319-988-4760. The available information includes two contrasting customer reviews, offering different perspectives on the clinic's approach to patient care, particularly concerning emergency situations and medication dispensing to non-clients.

Details about the environment of Dr. Julie Budreau's practice are not explicitly provided in the reviews. Typically, a Pet Hospital aims to create a welcoming and professional setting for animal care. This would generally include examination rooms, a reception area, and potentially other specialized spaces depending on the services offered. One positive review mentions a "thorough exam" conducted for a sick puppy, suggesting the presence of appropriate examination facilities. However, neither review offers specific details about the clinic's ambiance, cleanliness, or the overall layout. Local users interested in learning more about the clinic's environment may need to contact them directly or seek additional information online if available.

The services offered by Dr. Julie Budreau's practice can be partially inferred from the customer experiences. One review highlights the clinic's willingness to see a sick puppy on short notice when other clinics allegedly refused, suggesting the provision of urgent or emergent care, at least for new clients in some circumstances. The reviewer also mentions a thorough exam and detailed discussion of the puppy's care, indicating general veterinary consultation and diagnostic services are available. However, the second review describes an instance where the clinic refused to sell deworming medication to someone whose pets were not already clients, even though the owner had consulted another vet the previous night. This suggests a policy that may restrict certain services or medication sales to established clients only. The full range of services, such as surgery, vaccinations, dental care, or advanced diagnostics, is not specified in these reviews. Local pet owners should contact the clinic directly for a comprehensive list of their offerings.

Several features of Dr. Julie Budreau's practice can be gleaned from the customer feedback. A notable positive feature, according to one reviewer, is the apparent willingness to accommodate new patients with urgent needs, in contrast to other clinics in the area. This suggests a commitment to providing timely care in some situations. The same review also praises the thoroughness of the examinations and the clear communication provided by the staff, as well as their compassionate treatment of both the pet and the owner. However, a contrasting feature highlighted by the other review is a perceived inflexibility in dispensing medication to non-clients, even for what was described as a "life-saving" need, leading to a characterization of the practice as "elitist" by that reviewer. These conflicting accounts present a nuanced view of the clinic's operational policies and priorities. Local users should consider both perspectives when evaluating this Pet Hospital.

Regarding promotional information, the provided data does not include any specific promotions, discounts, or special offers associated with Dr. Julie Budreau's practice. The positive testimonial serves as an indirect endorsement of the clinic's responsiveness and care quality in certain situations. However, there is no mention of any formal promotional activities. Local users interested in learning about any new client specials or other promotions should contact the clinic directly.

In conclusion, Dr. Julie Budreau's veterinary practice in Cedar Falls, IA, operating as a Pet Hospital, has received contrasting feedback regarding its services. One customer lauded the clinic for its prompt attention to a sick puppy and the compassionate, thorough care provided by the staff. Conversely, another customer reported a refusal to sell essential medication because their pets were not existing clients. These differing experiences suggest that while the clinic may offer excellent care and be accommodating in some emergency situations, there might be limitations or policies that affect non-clients differently. Local users should consider these perspectives and contact the clinic directly to understand their policies and the full scope of services offered.

For pet owners in Cedar Falls, IA, and the surrounding areas, Dr. Julie Budreau's practice presents a Pet Hospital with a reputation for being responsive and caring, particularly in accepting new patients with urgent needs, as highlighted by one positive review. However, the reported refusal to provide medication to a non-client raises questions about the clinic's policies regarding those who are not yet established customers. Potential clients may want to inquire about their policies on emergency care for non-clients and the dispensing of medications to ensure it aligns with their expectations for a veterinary care provider.

In summary, Dr. Julie Budreau's practice in Cedar Falls, IA, is a Pet Hospital that appears to prioritize thorough care and may be accommodating to new patients in urgent situations. However, potential clients should be aware of the reported policy regarding medication sales to non-clients. Local users are encouraged to contact the clinic directly to obtain more information about their environment, the full range of services offered, and their policies regarding new patients and medication dispensing to make an informed decision about their pet's healthcare.

The only thing I have done with this place is call to see if de-worming meds were available. I already had talked to a vet the previous night and my normal vet was closed for the day. These people refused to sell life saving meds just because my pups weren't already clients. Can we say "elitist" much.

I called as a new client and was seen the same day after my regular vet told me I couldn’t get my injured dog in for nearly a month! The staff was kind and caring. Needless to say I now have a new regular vet!

Love the vets and staff. From the first time we brought our pup in to her final visit 13years later. The care they had for her even in the final days.
