Douds has taken care of multiple furry members of our family over the last 13 years, including major surgery on a cat with bladder crystals, helping ease end-of-life suffering of our 17- and 18-year-old cats, and educating us about raising our newest addition—an active puppy, now 2-1/2 year old dog (who has had ear infections, skin allergies, and a penchant for eating sticks that caused a minor mishap requiring Douds team to intervene). I highly recommend them for their care and expertise.

I am so satisfied with the care my Baby Girl receives at Doud's. The staff is friendly and professional. They treat her the way I would treat her myself.

I've been doing business with Douds Veterinary Hospital since I adopted my cat four years ago. She was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and has been on methimazole since her first check up. I prefer purchasing the prescription from Chewy since it is half the cost of what Douds would charge. Recently I had approximately ten pills remaining (five days worth) and my chewy auto fill prescription email indicated Douds would not complete the approval and I would have to physically go to Douds in person, get an original copy of the prescription, and snail mail it to chewy for processing. This change in processing the prescription would take more days to complete than I had in medicine putting my cat's health at risk. The same morning I found a local veterinarian who was willing to take my cat as a client, but also continue to work with chewy's pharmacy to fulfill the prescription. I removed Douds as my veterinarian at chewy, added the new vet, then transferred her medical records. I always thought Douds was expensive, but I now realize through this recent experience they are egregiously greedy and prioritized profit over my cat's health. They knowingly tried to leverage the fact I had only a few days of medication remaining in an attempt to force my hand to purchase the medication from them at twice the cost by making it difficult for me to use chewy. Not only do I find this behavior greedy, but it verges on unethical as well. From this point forward I will never recommend or do business with Douds again.

They were able to get our kitty Silver in as a patient so we could get him his rabies shot to be fixed - sent him home with a bag of goodies and he ADORES the little mouse he got. He was neutered quickly and for a reasonable price, and the staff was very good to him. They even called to check up on him!
