Dixie Day Spay

I took my cat to get spayed today at 7:30am. During drop off time it was easy but very rushed the staff were nice though. I tried to call multiple times to check on our girl around 12pm and there phone never rang. I got a call that she was ready right after my calls. When I went to pick her up, my daughter and I were expecting a conversation covering her post surgery care and how the microchip works. Nothing. They had me pay my bill and the lady that sits by the door acted like she couldn’t get me out of there fast enough and gave me yes or no responses to the questions I had while 5-6 other staff stood by listening. To add to my disappointment, I requested for my cat to have her nails trimmed during surgery and they never did. Who’s to say she got all the shots she was suppose to get? I tried calling about this and their phone didn’t ring again. I’ve heard great experiences with this place but this is my experience. The staff definitely needs to be more considerate and take the time to discuss post op care rather than acting like it’s just a transaction and on to the next.

Experience was great all the way around! I was a bit nervous because of my last dogs situation at the vet. It was my furbaby not the vet at all. Dixie day spay was so patient with me with all my questions. Most questions were answered with emails and them informing me. My boy Rosco got snipped Monday and is doing great! He didn't have any complications. It took him the next night to be all the way back to himself but that's to be expected. They said to pick pet up by 4:30p same day as procedure. Be open that they could potentially want you to pick them up earlier. That was the only situation I wasn't prepared for. Thankfully I was able to leave work early. Thank yall for the great care for Rosco, patience with me, and very great price for procedure, Rabies shot, and nail trim!!! God bless

Love this place! Have had many animals fixed here!! They are low cost spay/neuter!! With great prices on flea and worm meds!! Highly recommended!! All my animals came home with NO vine of shame and were wide awake ready to go!!👏👏👏👏👏

Do NOT take your animal here if you love them! They lost my cat after her surgery. Or that’s the story they told. They didn’t look for my cat or help me to find her. They couldn’t even tell me the general direction she went if that’s what really even happened. They genuinely do not care about you, or your pet. And to the lady Karen, who works there, she owns a kitty rescue in Cleveland and she was the rudest of them all. I wouldn’t do business with her kitten rescue or this place if it was for my pet rock!! I will never forgive myself for putting my sweet girl in the hands of people who could care less about her life, and I have to live with that everyday for the rest of my life. Do yourself a favor, just take your pet anywhere else! The $75 dollars is not worth the carelessness of this place.

Dixie Day is great! They keep the pricing down lower than any around. I've had 3 pets spayed and neutered with them, no problem at all. The staff is very kind, they really do, do their best! They need lots of donations to help with what they do, so if anyone has something they can use, go drop it off. Thank you Dixie Day Spay for all you do 🥰
