10/10 Experience – Highly Recommend! I recently took my sweet Shih Tzu to this vet, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! From the moment we walked in, I was impressed. The staff is absolutely amazing – warm, friendly, and incredibly professional. The doctor was thorough and caring, taking the time to explain everything in detail and ensuring my girl felt comfortable throughout. The assistant was also fantastic, making the visit even smoother. The best part? It’s super affordable without compromising the quality of care. They’ve truly earned my trust, and I’m so excited to bring her brother in for his visit next. This place made my whole week, and I can’t recommend them enough!

Based on available information, Dicken Memorial Animal Hospital - Alison Beaulieu DVM aims to be a reliable partner in your pet's healthcare journey. While direct information about the hospital's environment, such as detailed descriptions or visuals, is not readily available online, we can infer certain aspects based on customer reviews. One positive review highlights a welcoming atmosphere and a professional yet friendly staff. This suggests an environment where pet owners feel comfortable and supported from the moment they step through the door. A clean and organized setting is typically expected in a professional veterinary clinic to ensure hygiene and the well-being of the animals being treated. Modern veterinary hospitals often feature comfortable waiting areas to minimize stress for pets and their owners, examination rooms equipped for thorough check-ups, and potentially separate areas for different types of animals to reduce anxiety.

The core function of any Pet Hospital is the provision of veterinary services. While a comprehensive list of services offered by Dicken Memorial Animal Hospital - Alison Beaulieu DVM is not explicitly detailed in the provided information, we can anticipate a range of essential veterinary care. These commonly include routine check-ups and wellness examinations, vaccinations to protect against common diseases, parasite prevention (such as flea, tick, and heartworm control), dental care services to maintain oral health, and nutritional counseling to ensure pets receive appropriate diets. Furthermore, a full-service animal hospital typically offers diagnostic services, which may include laboratory testing (blood work, urinalysis, fecal exams), and imaging techniques such as X-rays to help identify underlying health issues. In cases of illness or injury, veterinary hospitals provide medical treatments, which can range from administering medications to providing supportive care. Surgical services, from routine procedures like spaying and neutering to more complex operations, are also often a key component of a pet hospital's offerings. It is advisable to contact Dicken Memorial Animal Hospital directly at (607) 217-5202 or +1 607-217-5202 to inquire about the specific services they provide for your pet's needs.

Features that set a Pet Hospital apart often revolve around the quality of care, the expertise of the veterinary professionals, the use of modern equipment, and the overall client experience. The positive review received by Dicken Memorial Animal Hospital - Alison Beaulieu DVM emphasizes the thorough and caring nature of the doctor, Alison Beaulieu DVM, and the professionalism of the staff. The reviewer specifically mentions the doctor taking the time to explain everything in detail and ensuring the pet's comfort. This level of personalized attention and clear communication is a significant feature that builds trust between the veterinary team and pet owners. The mention of a "fantastic" assistant further underscores the importance of a well-trained and supportive team in delivering a positive experience. Affordability without compromising quality is another notable feature highlighted in the review, making quality veterinary care accessible to a wider range of pet owners in the Endicott area.

However, it is crucial to present a balanced perspective by also considering any negative feedback. One review expresses significant dissatisfaction, stating that the hospital refused to see a 12.5-year-old Golden Retriever who had not been back for routine care since a consultation with an oncologist in 2021. The reviewer felt that the hospital abandoned their aging dog for reasons that "make no sense," despite the dog being fully insured and loved. This feedback raises concerns about patient management policies and the circumstances under which the hospital might decline to provide care. It is important for potential clients to be aware of such policies and to discuss their pet's specific situation with the hospital to ensure a clear understanding of their ability to provide ongoing care.

Promotional information for Dicken Memorial Animal Hospital - Alison Beaulieu DVM is not explicitly provided in the given text. Typically, pet hospitals might offer promotions for new clients, seasonal specials on vaccinations or parasite prevention, or package deals for routine procedures like spaying/neutering that include pre-operative and post-operative care. They might also participate in community events or offer educational workshops for pet owners. To learn about any current promotions or special offers, it is recommended to visit their website (if available through an online search), follow their social media channels (if they have any), or directly inquire when contacting them by phone. The positive review mentioning affordability could be considered an implicit form of positive promotion, suggesting that their pricing is competitive and offers good value for the quality of care provided.

In summary, Dicken Memorial Animal Hospital - Alison Beaulieu DVM in Endicott, NY, as a Pet Hospital, appears to strive to provide quality and affordable veterinary care, as indicated by a highly positive customer review praising the warm staff, thorough and caring doctor, and overall positive experience. However, a contrasting negative review highlights potential concerns regarding patient acceptance policies, particularly for pets with specific medical histories or gaps in routine visits. They won't see a 12.5 year old Golden, because she had not been back since her consultation with an oncologist. They recommened the oncolgist and she has not needed routine care since 2021, but feel this is justifcation for abandoning her as a patient. They are acting like my fully insured dogs and incredibly loved dogs are neglected. It was not a simple misunderstading, I explained the situation and they spoke to the owner who still refused! I have been loyal and have recommended people and now they refuse to see my dog, for reasons that make no sense. What kind of vet or person abandons an aging dog? Absolutely inhuman people. Here are the dogs you abandoned, you horrible people.

Love love the staff and both doctors Alison Beaulieu and Janet Ziebur. Both doctors are so compassionate and caring towards our dogs. The staff is so nice and good with how they are with our pets. Would highly recommend this place for anyone who has pets. We even use the hotel for when we go away and never have to worry about the cate they are getting.

Dicken Memorial hospital continues to be a compassionate knowledgeable veterinary practice for our canine pack. Both Dr. Bealieu and Ziebur have guided us through routine preventative maintenance and specialized care and surgical procedures when needed. The staff is always upbeat, friendly and caring with our pets and us. They were also there recently when one of our dogs had an aggressive terminal disease. Dr. Bellieu kept us updated on results and treatments with late night and weekend communications. When it was time to let him cross over the rainbow bridge you couldn’t ask for a more loving and peaceful setting allowing us all the time we needed to say goodbye. I would highly recommend this practice for your pets if you’re looking for excellent veterinary care.

I don't normally write poor reviews, but I would not recommend this place to do business. It is near impossible to get your pets in for a visit. They are short staffed, and it affects all aspects of their business. We have been fortunate to find a different vet in the area that has been so accommodating, caring, respectful, and costs less.
