Devon Veterinary Hospital

Devon Vet has been our vet for about four years, and they are excellent. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, communicative, and informative, especially the front desk. Most of my appointments are surprisingly quick, and the waiting room is comfortable. I also want to mention Dr. Kennedy specifically - if you have cats, he's your guy. He handles our 3 cats with incredible grace, making sure that they're comfortable without sacrificing efficiency. When our cat had a mass in her abdomen, he had us come in for frequent checkups to make sure she was all right, even after the mass disappeared on its own. And I truly don't think it's about trying to make as much money as possible - when our other cat was having urinary issues, Dr. Kennedy exhausted every other option before resorting to surgery, whereas another vet might have suggested surgery from the get-go. Aside from how he treats animals, Dr. Kennedy also possesses a level of tact I rarely see from doctors. He acknowledges and validates our frustrations; it never feels like he's too rushed to take our concerns seriously. I also want to say that Devon Vet did waive a fee in exchange for a 5-star review, which is an exchange I tend to be skeptical of. However, I would have given them a 5-star review with no incentive, because I really believe they care about me and my pets.

Very happy with the friendly techs, along with my usual request to not have a tech who is wearing perfume or cologne, due to my and my cat's allergies. Dr Kennedy is exceptional! He is kind, gentle (with my cat), thoughtful, and very experienced/skilled. Further, he has excellent communication skills and responds to questions and concerns promptly. If a perfect Veterinarian could be created...they would be just like him!

This was my first visit, and I can’t recommend them highly enough! I’m new to the area and needed to find a new vet, so I was nervous about bringing my shy pup to a new place. But from the moment we walked in, everyone was incredibly welcoming and kind. The front desk staff were so sweet, eager to pet my dog, and make her feel at ease. The vet and the techs were fantastic too, and I’m so relieved to finally get answers about my dog’s ongoing leg injury that’s been bothering her for nearly a year. The vet was attentive to my concerns and gave clear insights about her injury and the next steps. It’s such a relief to finally have a plan. Once again, I highly recommend this place and I’m so glad to have found a vet office I can truly trust!

Dr Kennedy is A-1! Most conscientious, kind, focused, knowledgable comprehensive, respectful Dr we have ever had the pleasure of working with for the 8 yrs we have been at this vet hospital. We see him exclusively! :-)
