I use to love the vets enthusiasm regarding treating your pet and I felt she was genuine and kind. I was unable to take my cat to her due to his desperate fear of getting in his cage so I have a new pet that visits me to give him his check ups. My cat was experiencing some mouth issues but he was eating and drinking. The next day after she saw him he is no longer able to eat or drink so I called at 8: am I left several text and emails to see if I could bring him for euthanasia I was met with craziness never spoke to the vet but per her office staff I was told to take him to the ER! I noticed on the bill that the charges were seriously inflated without anything being done to help with his condition although she did advise to put him down. He was so drugged up he was walking in circles hours later. All I can say is beware everything that shines is not good!

Customer reviews of Derry Animal Hospital reveal a contrast in experiences. One reviewer expressed disappointment and frustration with their recent experience. They had previously appreciated the vet's enthusiasm and kindness, but their experience with their cat, who was experiencing mouth issues, was negative. Due to the cat's fear of carriers, they opted for an in-home visit. The day after the visit, the cat's condition worsened, and they were unable to reach the vet for euthanasia, despite leaving multiple messages. They were told by staff to take the cat to an emergency room. They also claimed the charges were inflated and that the cat was heavily drugged. They advised others to "beware" and questioned the clinic's quality.

Conversely, another reviewer expressed strong satisfaction with Derry Animal Hospital. They praised the vet and staff for their sensitivity and sweetness towards their dogs. They found the clinic easy to work with and expressed gratitude for Dr. Crescenzi and the staff's support, particularly during difficult times. They stated they trusted them with their dogs and thanked them for their help.

The reviews present a mixed picture, with some clients experiencing compassionate and supportive care, while others raise concerns about communication, emergency handling, and billing practices. The significant difference in experiences suggests potential inconsistencies in the clinic's service.

While the clinic is capable of providing compassionate care, as evidenced by the positive review, the negative review highlights potential issues with communication, emergency response, and post-visit care. The stark contrast in experiences indicates potential inconsistencies in service quality.

Derry Animal Hospital is recommended with caution. Potential clients should carefully consider the mixed reviews and ask detailed questions about emergency procedures, communication protocols, and billing practices. Due to the severe nature of the negative review, especially regarding emergency handling, potential clients should consider having a backup plan for emergency situations.

I love my vet and all the staff! This place is so great! They are sensitive and sweet to my dogs and very easy to work with. I am so grateful for Dr. Crescenzi and all the wonderful people on staff. I trust them with my precious pups Ruby and Luna, and they have been there to help us at the most difficult of times. Thank you Derry Animal Hospital!

The staff is caring, knowledgeable and seem to truly enjoy where they work. They take their time explaining everything from procedures to products to finances and are prompt in replying to messages. We are very happy to have found them for our new little Beagle, Oliver!

Trust them implicitly with the care of our 2 pups for years. Top notch medical care but with an excellent kindness.

I took my little Jack Russell Terrier to this Animal Hospital, for the first time today, 11/25/2019, and the experience was extra ordinarily pleasant! Where my dog was extremely stressed, at the clinic we patronized previously, she was nervous but relaxed at Derry Animal Hospital. The Doctor was top notch, and the staff is very nice, knowledgeable, and explained things well. I am very pleased that I decided to transfer to this clinic. Thank you. Sincerely Renate Grim & Athena
