I can not recommend this office enough. They have continuously gone above and beyond to help me and my dog. At previous vets I would be charged for the visit, the testing, the meds, you name it. It was crazy expensive so when my dog Milo developed an infection causing severe dandruff and loss of fur I took him to my old vet (whom I will NEVER be returning to) and I was only able to pay for the visit and not the treatment each time the visit ended up being over $800. They’d prescribe antibiotics but only for 7 days. Needles to say that after three times of this my dog was still sick and I was broke. I told my vet I couldn’t afford anymore treatment and they recommended I either rehome or euthanize my dog. I’m not even kidding. I was furious. So thats when I called dermatology for pets. I explained how my dog had previously been on antibiotics for this issue three times and was only ever prescribed a 7 day dose and had no resolve. They were able to split my visit into two separate visits so each time it only cost me half the price of one visit at my regular vet. I’ve come back several times to have my dog rechecked and every time he is getting better and better. In one visit we were able to accomplish what it had taken my previous vet three visits to still not even figure out. They never even reached a diagnosis and I was over -$2400 in. Now, his energy levels are back to normal and his fur has completely grown back. Turns out on top of an infection he also has a thyroid condition. They still continuously work to get me the best price WHILE helping my dog. This is far different from every other experience I’ve had with local vets. I can not recommend this vet enough. If you can take your dog here, do it. Don’t waste your time or money anywhere else. To all of the employees at dermatology for pets from the bottom of my heart thank you for caring for my dog. He is healthy and thriving all thanks to you.

Dr. Laporte and her assistant were absolutely amazing with my Louis today! He has been struggling with allergies and ear infections so bad! They were very thorough and informative! I highly recommend! We drove from WY and our visit was definitely worth the drive.

I really like this clinic and Dr. Laporte they have helped my dog a lot, however their mark up on medication is insane. They prescribed Cefpodoxime 200mg 30 pills and charged me over $130.00 for it. Went on chewy same drug same dose $43.00 make sure you ask can I get a prescription instead of them just filling it for you. The apoquel was not as marked up, but I’ve learned my lesson. I had sticker shock the last time I went in. Ask how much every test is before you commit and do your homework on google with medications.
