Short review: I will not be returning to this vet clinic and strongly advise others to look elsewhere. Our visit was a waste of time, money, and they injured my dog. I sent the owner/office an email and have not heard back in over a week. Long review: I called and booked my dog a routine nail trim & anal gland expression for the first time at this clinic. I arrived at the clinic at 9:10 AM for our appointment. Despite explaining my dog's needs and the specific services requested, I didn’t leave until 10:30 AM. Once in the room, the vet immediately suggested three additional tests, including testing two lumps on my dog's leg. I explained that our previous vet had assessed these lumps and determined they were benign fatty masses that didn’t require removal, given my dog's age and lack of pain. After her pressuring me to get the tests done in a condescending manner, during which my dog’s anxiety medication began to wear off, the nail trim and anal gland expression still hadn't been done. She left the room and I overheard her talking about me behind the door, questioning my decisions and refusal of additional tests. When the vet tech came in and informed me that the cost would be over $450 for the visit, I was baffled since the visit was supposed to be for a nail trim and anal gland expression. I asked him to remove all the services & tests other than the ones I booked. One of the recommended tests WASN’T EVEN DUE for another year, as confirmed by the vet tech. I again, informed them the services I was there for. At this point we were in there for over 45 minutes and none of the scheduled services had been completed. Finally around 10:10am, my dog was taken to the back for the procedures. I heard him howling in distress, and when he was returned, his paw was bleeding all over the ground. Not only did they not notice he was bleeding, I had to request they stop the bleeding before I took him to the car. I was told they had accidentally cut his quick, but when I got home, I discovered that THREE of his quicks had been cut. The clinic’s lack of response is really telling. Between the upselling of services and tests, talking about a customer within ear distance, and then injuring my animal, we won’t be back. Overall, my experience was extremely disappointing and distressing for both me and my dog. Now I have to keep an eye on them to make sure they don’t get infected. Photos show the powder and exposed quick on the 2 outer nails & the middle nail still bleeding by the time we got home.

Aug 28, 2024 · Nicole DiGiorgioIf you had asked me a month ago about the best vet clinic I’d been to, THIS would’ve been the one I spoke about. After our first visit I returned home to discover they’d put a bag of treats in with my puppy’s prescription because she LOVED them. And then they called the next day to ask how she was feeling. I had NEVER experienced anything like that before. I LOVED IT!!! Then I took her in a month ago, and they asked for a sample for a fecal exam. A few days later, a very nice lady called with the news that my puppy had hookworms. She was very compassionate and informed me about what I needed to do. The next day I went in and picked up some medication to clear it up, but after leaving I realized I forgot to ask a question, so I called back to the office and asked the receptionist. She placed me on hold, and the woman who I spoke with next proceeded to make me feel like a horrible pet owner for the next two minutes because I asked if I should/could wait until after she finished up her first puppy menstruation. “IF YOU DON’T GIVE IT TO HER NOW SHE’LL BECOME ANEMIC AND DIE!!!!!” Well, THAT escalated quickly. So, she scared the ever-loving s&$t out of me!!! After giving my puppy the medication I was told I needed to bring in another sample in two weeks, but, being extremely worried about my puppy, I called the office to see if there was anything I should look out for. THIS woman was similarly disinterested , so I ended up hanging up and just nervously waiting for two weeks. When I returned with the sample I was told I would hear something in 24 hours. I called the next day when I didn’t hear from anyone, only to be told they didn’t have the results and it wouldn’t be until Monday. Monday, no call, so I called Tuesday. Only to be told the results had SUPPOSEDLY been emailed to me over the weekend…WHAT?!?!? After scaring me to death you’re just going to email me the results?!?!? On WHAT PLANET is that acceptable?!?!? Did I NOT pay enough to be even SLIGHTLY respected? And, when I tried to voice my displeasure I spoke with someone identifying themselves as the Office Manager who proceeded to place me on an indefinite hold. It is clear that this “Clinic” only cares about my money and NOT the wellbeing of my puppy, otherwise how is this sort of behavior even REMOTELY explainable? Sadly, I will now have to find another vet who’s less “Jekyll and Hyde” and WAY MORE compassionate.
Aug 13, 2024 · John DeauxBest vets in the state. Dr. Joe is a legend and Dr. Sam is awesome. The staff are basically family and are great as well. This is truly a gem. Crew approved!
Feb 07, 2020 · T KI would absolutely recommend this clinic! We came here for our Great Dane to be neutered and have his gastropexy done. Our reg vet recommended having this surgery done laparoscopically. This clinic was very reasonably priced, so helpful and very friendly. Every encounter with them was positive.
