Davison Veterinary Hospital: Mc Fall Susan G DVM

Called to see if they are experienced with feline asthma as it's really a complex condition. Whoever answered the phone started off extremely condescending and said "well the Dr is experienced with ALL things Veterinary related"... that's the most arrogant and ignorant comment I've ever heard. I've been to 3 different vets with my asthmatic cat and they all had different levels of experience and different ways of approach to the condition. So I pressed a little and said it's really a hard thing to manage and she said she'd go talk to her Dr. She came back in phone with a very smug tone and said "the Dr is treating a cat with asthma RIGHT now" and laughed at me... which was appalling behavior... but still .. I realize this is just the staff and I was willing to make a Tele health appt to be able to talk to the vet. Then she said just so I know they are permanently curbside because "it's all about the animals" there. That is garbage, it's more convenient for the staff. So I said we can cancel the appt then because I'm not comfortable with that. Sorry I'm not an owner who is not involved with my pets care, I have a very close relationship with my current vet it's just that my current vet is not as versed in asthma as I think my kitty needs and we moved 2 hours from our last vet... I was also interested in alternative therapies that could be used in conjunction with current meds, sorry but you can't have meaningful conversations about the care you're providing without letting the owners in. Zoom doesn't cut it. I guess first impressions really do matter, and I shouldn't have even bothered asking anything further after the condescending tone from the front desk.

My favorite veterinary experience ever. Dr. Sovey and all the techs and employees are the most compassionate and well trained crew I could’ve ever asked to find. They brought my sweet Troll back from the brink of some very scary cancer and now we do biweekly acupuncture and laser therapy with mushroom supplements and at 15, my dearest Troll is herself again 🧡💗❤️ we are so very grateful and look forward to coming here for many more years!

When you have a child, you take them to this docter. Dr. Kelly Sovey has walked the path we walk, and she cares the way you do. As much as you do. Her team cares, and are well trained! If your child is willing to fight, and you are willing to fight, she will be their🌹

We absolutely love everyone here. Dr. Sovey takes great care of our Fur-Baby, Miggy. The staff is wonderful with Miggy and they take the time to answer any & all of our questions and concerns.

This a very caring place. The vet & staff are awesome. But the inside being closed for pet owners has gone on too long. Sitting in a hot car for an hour & half while 90 degrees outside is ridiculous. Gas is too high to keep vehicles running, not to mention the exhaust being pumped into the air. A mask being worn while inside should be good enough. All of my friends vets have the inside open. I don't understand the continued paranoia.
