As a child, I grew up taking my pets to Dr. Pelura and now as an adult, I am fortunate enough to continue but for many additional reasons! Once I started breeding, Dr. Pelura continued being my go-to for many reasons. Breeding: The office staffs attention, love and genuine care for every puppy from every litter I have bred. The respect shown for me as a breeder. Dr. Pelura & Staff encourages the aspect of my breeding program that includes photos, videos during each puppies exam. The office provides complimentary additional veterinarian documentation, forms, folders and packets containing new puppy information for my puppy families. Dr. Pelura offers continued support and assistance to families after the puppies go home. As a livestock farmer: Dr. Pelura’s staff accommodates multiple animals in one day, allowing me to return animals back to the farm and grab the others to head back to the office. At my most recent visit, I was observing Dr. Pelura’s technique administering vaccines and drawing blood. He did not hesitate to show me as well as answer my following questions so that I can further my education and knowledge. His range of knowledge and continued education of small and large animal health and well being. I’m always greeted with a warm welcome from the staff and Dr. Pelura as soon as I enter the office. They’re always more than willing to help wrangle your animals inside and laugh with you along the way. It is a very comforting friendly environment that I personally appreciate. We just had to have our 14-year-old dog and family member euthanized. Dr. Pelura and his staff were wonderful. They turned an experience that we were dreading into a gentle, peaceful, caring process, and we very much appreciate it.

This place is absolutely horrendous, I would never bring any pet here if I were you. Pelura refused care and prescription medication to my cat after he prescribed a medicine that, orally, gives cats liver failure. They refused to fix their mistake and told me to go to another vet and get a whole another examination. Absolutely outrageous. If you love your animals, do NOT come here.

Dr. Pelura is awesome!!! All my dogs have liked him. He has a no nonsense approach but takes time to answer our questions. He and his staff were so good to me when I had to have one of my dogs euthanized due to illness. I love the fact that his practice is on his farm, as we get to visit with mini donkies and occasionally his horse. We're all comfortable in his small clinic and our pets get the best care.
