Great first visit at Crossroads Animal Care Center for my lil furbaby❣️🐶 Dr. Seligson was professional yet patient and knowledgeable. She helped me understand my lil senior Shih Tzu's heart murmur and the type of food he should be eating to not make things worse. She also diagnosed his lil hind leg(limping) as muscle sprain/strain from jumping up and down too much. Suggestions for treatment seem to help plus him being a few pounds less won't hurt either.😉 Thanks Dr. Selgiston, well see you in two weeks for a follow-up.🤞🏽🤗 7/3/23 Furbaby is officially 14yrs old now.🙌🏾❤️ However, with age there may be more health issues. This time I noticed blood in his hair on his private area😳 after potty. So off to the vet we go. This time we saw Dr. Neff for this possible emergecy visit and he was absolutely wonderful. He was very reassuring and efficient, which was so calming to a very concerned HuMom. I'll keep a close eye my Furbaby as the bloody discharge did not repeat. Thanks for another professional yet personable visit at Crossroads Animal Care Center.👍🏽🤗 12/26/23 Another great vet visit with Dr. Neff. He is absolutely one of the best vet doctors my furbaby of 14yrs has seen❤️. He is so caring and personable. His explanations are so clear and down to earth which really helps to put your mind at ease. Thank you Dr. Neff for your guidance and dedication to our furry family members' health/wellbeing.🐶❤️🙏🏽 12/23/2024 Dr. Neff is the best❣️Snickers was suffering from an eye issue👁He was squinting & his eye stayed glossy looking & irritated...😢 Although he's losing his sight suffering due to age, Dr. Neff quickly diagnosed him & gave me some peace of mind until after the holiday🙌🏽when he'll be rechecked by him👍🏽 Thanks Dr. Neff🙏🏽

Dec 23, 2024 · P “PrettyWingsRosyFuture” JThe vet we saw is good and the facility is clean. However, while they provide good animal care, they do not fully disclose all costs prior to conducting procedures. If you go here, ask to have everything itemized ahead of time, as they will not volunteer this. Bringing your dog in with a possible urinary tract infection and leaving with a bill for $685 with no one walking through the quickly escalating charges prior to their accrual was a real shocker. No one offered alternatives or said they were necessary steps for treatment. When I called to complain, I was told I should have asked. I have been to other veterinarians who will disclose ahead of time to you the price of each item or procedure they are proposing for your pet and gauge together with the pet owner whether or not that is the route they want to go . I think some veterinarians need to realize that vet care differs significantly from human care and that most people do not have insurance for their pets and are unfamiliar with the exorbitant charges some places charge, nor do they make the salary that a veterinarian makes. So shelling out $685 when you were expecting a much lower bill can impact family finances. My recommendation is that they consider both the pet and the owners in their decisions and not assume that everyone is familiar with, or can pay, their extremely high costs. I also recommend that the staff better explain to the client the full benefit of each procedure they are proposing and whether or not it is truly necessary in that specific case. For $685, we left with a bottle of antibiotics (which was the only necessary item), another bottle of an unnecessary medication we didn't even ask for, and the strong feeling we had been taken advantage of financially.
Sep 24, 2024 · Maggie CostelloWe have been taking our Pets to Crossroads Animal Care Center for 25 plus years. All of the Vets and Techs plus front staff have been outstanding. We will continue to use them for our pets needs.
Feb 02, 2025 · Scott SummerfieldDo not bring your dog here, theres a bunch in the area that are way more qualified & will actually perform the service you asked for. I brought my dog here back in October to get his nails trimmed & get his ears checked. First, i was told that they couldn't perform the full trim for whatever reason (i cant remember what the excuse was but it was completely insignificant), so i ended up leaving with my dog only getting his back paws trimmed. Next, they completed the exam (for his ears) & i paid for everything in its entirety (with receipt) before i left. I then was called when i was already at home about 30 minutes later about a “service” i wasn't charged for when i was just there? Of $80? (Mind you i just spent $250).. Ive never heard of being charged after the fact, BUT, the craziest part is i needed proof of my dogs rabies shots recently so i could board him for a weekend & i was told they couldn’t relay that info to me until i paid the balance on my account.. A transaction they proceeded to add AFTER my departure. If you read through reviews for this place you’ll see a bunch of people complaining about the same things, price gouging & bad business, so i felt the need to post my horrible experience as well.
