Dr. Crockett took excellent care of our bassett hound/Tucker Dr. Crockett retired last month and right before he was retiring we had to have Tucker put to sleep. It was very sad. Tucker loved going to see Dr. Crockett. Once he realized we was going there he would lead the way and once we got close to the front door he would about drag is in there. It was disappointing to hear he was retiring. I'm pretty sure that one of the girls that was his assistant is gonna lease the building and make it a place that can watch your animal while you go on vacation and stuff like that. If she does then I will recommend her. She is very good with the animals also.

As a long-standing provider within the "Pet Hospital" category, Crockett Veterinary Hospital, under the dedicated care of Dr. Crockett, built a strong reputation for providing excellent and compassionate veterinary services to the local community. The heartfelt reviews from pet owners highlight the positive impact Dr. Crockett and his team had on the lives of their beloved animals. It is important to note, however, that according to one of the reviews, Dr. Crockett retired last month. While the future of the physical location as a pet-related service is hinted at, the current status as a veterinary hospital under Dr. Crockett's care has changed.

One touching review recounts the experience of a basset hound named Tucker, who received excellent care from Dr. Crockett. The deep bond between Tucker and Dr. Crockett is evident in the description of Tucker's enthusiastic arrivals at the clinic. Knowing he was going to see Dr. Crockett, Tucker would eagerly lead the way and practically pull his owners through the front door. This strong positive association indicates a comfortable and welcoming environment for pets and a caring demeanor from Dr. Crockett. The reviewer expressed their sadness upon hearing of Dr. Crockett's retirement, underscoring the significant impact he had on their pet's life and their trust in his care. Interestingly, this review also mentions a potential future for the location, suggesting that one of Dr. Crockett's assistants may lease the building to establish a pet boarding facility. If this transpires, the reviewer indicates they would recommend this individual based on their positive interactions and her good rapport with animals.

Another review praises Dr. Crockett's attentive and ethical approach to veterinary care, specifically in treating a bearded dragon. The owner appreciated that Dr. Crockett genuinely cared about their pet's condition, gave the reptile proper attention, and importantly, did not recommend or sell unnecessary treatments. The reviewer's beardie was in poor health but made a full recovery under Dr. Crockett's care, with the positive outcome illustrated in photos taken months after treatment. This testimonial highlights Dr. Crockett's expertise in treating not just common household pets but also exotic animals, and his commitment to honest and necessary care.

Based on these reviews, the environment at Crockett Veterinary Hospital under Dr. Crockett's management was characterized by a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for pets, as evidenced by Tucker's eagerness to visit. Dr. Crockett and his staff were known for their caring and attentive approach, building strong relationships with their animal patients. Dr. Crockett cared about my bearded dragon's condition, gave him attention, and did not sell me things I did not need. My beardie was not looking good at all and they were able to get him back to good health! These pictures are a few months after receiving care. Thank you!

I have taken all 7 of my dogs here !! Dr. Crockett is about taking care of business and getting things done while doing a thorough job at the same time! I now only have 5 dogs because I kept 2 of the 4 puppies and with having 5 dogs I can’t be taking off several days to take them to their appointments, and Dr. Crockett and his staff always work them in all at once and if they are sick or if I have any concerns he works them in last minute and either Dr. Crockett or his staff will follow up to see if they are improving or not. They are also open in Saturdays which is helpful as well !!! I couldn’t ask for a better veterinarian office for my fur family !! I live in Indiana and I will continue travel to Kentucky where my fur family can receive trusted quality care !!!!
