We first used this vet when our older cat needed help to be freed from her failing physical body. It was saturdsy and we found the weekend veterinarian to be kind caring and helpful. Since that visit we returned with a kitten and with another older cat who was in failing health and ultimately also passed away. They were wonderful again in this challenging moment. With all three of these furry friends we have received excellent care before and during covid. The Veterinarian Dr Lovell is kind and thorough, and her staff are quick, efficient, and friendly. I completely recommend this place, and I look forward to taking my pets there for years to come.

I am writing this review so NO ONE else will have to go through the anguish I did. If only I had a review like this, I would NEVER have taken my baby here... If you have a VERY friendly cat or dog that you are 100% sure won't bite or scratch, then maybe Creekside will be okay BUT I would NOT let them take your pet to another room where you can't see what's happening. As for me, I took my 19yr old indoor only cat to get an embedded nail trimmed. I only brought her to Creekside because they offer emergency/after hour services and that was important to me. I explained to the doctor my cat is VERY afraid of strangers and will bite if she can't run- that she'll need a muzzle. Helped the doctor muzzle her she is then taken out of the exam room and the door is shut. about 6 or 7 min later, a tech brings my cat back into exam room WITHOUT the muzzle on (I guess my cat removed it with her non-existent thumbs?) tells me she bit the doctor and that animal control was called. Yes, they had her vaccination records, yes she was up to date- just as city ordinance demands. I left the office hysterical and took her to her regular vet. They trimmed her nails with ONE tech and ONE doctor by throwing a towel over her and the tech hugging her close while the doctor trimmed paw by paw. 5min top. Animal control took my cat. They took my 19 yr old arthritic cat who has slept in the bed with me all her life, to a cold small kennel, full of smells and other cats, with off brand cat food that gave her terrible diarrhea. My vet called, I think the other vet in town called as well.No one had ever heard of a vet calling AC on an "animal" that was up to date on rabies vac. Nothing they said helped, unfortunately. All the stress could have killed my cat. I'm surprised it didn't kill me. I cried the Niagara Falls. No one in my family slept, and phone calls were made to county commissioners until we were told we could take her home for at home quarantine. The whole affair made me so physically ill that I ended up getting very sick and had to take off work for a few days. Once again, BE CAREFUL who you trust with your fur family members!
