Writing this a couple years later 😂 But it’s coming up on my baby girl’s 6th birthday in June and with it fresh on my mind I figured why not! I took my kitty at 9 weeks old to a pop up for some shots at Tractor Supply, my best friend and her family and some other friends have all taken their pets there so I did. Got the shots needed for my 9 week old Piper’s first set of shots and my Tinny’s (1 year at the time) updated vaccines. Took my girls home and everything was fine…until it wasn’t. About 2 days later my poor little Piper was throwing herself out of her litter box, lethargic, not drinking or eating. It all happened so fast, I wasn’t working at the time due to a high risk pregnancy. So I frantically called my son’s father telling him we had to do something, though it was a Sunday and almost everywhere was closed. Let me just say this here now as it’s important further on: Piper wasn’t just a pet when I got her, I lost a child before and during my first pregnancy. The second one being high risk really messed with my PTSD, therefore I got Piper for emotional support. So I find Creature Comforts and I call and explain the best I can with being so upset and scared. 2 hours away from where I lived, we drove because they said they would take us. And I am beyond thankful that they did. However when arriving, I don’t recall the ladies name but she was an older woman, shorter gray hair, definitely the head of it like ran the show. She was who I spoke with first and I was met with: “Well you should have got her shots at 8 weeks old to prevent this.” I got Piper at 8 weeks old and as I couldn’t work I relied on my son’s father (boyfriend at the time) to get paid and when he did we indeed when to a place we entrusted, which I do regret, but got her the shots needed. So only one of two things I found looking into it more after this woman made me feel guilty though I know 110% I was not: 1. Kittens can be born with it in their body it can be passed down from the mother 2. An animal at the pop up clinic must have had it already and THEIR OWNER did not take the proper precautions, causing my small kitten with a tiny immune system to easily contract it. I left to the car crying after she was basically trying to blame me for that happening to my kitten. Mind you, I was there with my boyfriend but she was only blaming me. Now on from that negative lady: The rest of the staff? Angels. I’m not lying to you, the first who came in to test Piper was straight honest with me on what the most probable outcome would be because of Piper’s age and that wasn’t a good prognosis. And it for sure hurt to hear, but she was kind and told me they would “do everything they could” to help her survive. My kitten was in seclusion there for 2 weeks, I did visit twice though it was 2 hours away and I couldn’t go near her, she wasn’t allowed out of where she was and no one was allowed in. I say very good for being hygienic, and a clinic that operates very well when it comes to containing illnesses and keeping the sick animal and all other animals safe! At least from what I’ve seen. My Tinny eventually was in there too for 1 week. She was older so it didn’t hit her like it did with Piper. Both girls came home, well and happy! Most importantly, Piper survived and what I want to say is thank you, honestly from the bottom of my heart to the staff that day almost 6 years ago, you guys saved my cats life. She gets to celebrate her 6th birthday because you didn’t turn us away and you didn’t give up on her.

I took my 3 legged foster fail Hanson there today because he wasn’t acting right. I was able to get a same day appointment. The staff was all amazing. They were able to quickly figure out what was wrong with my baby and helped come up with a plan.

I am new to PA and didn't know where to take my cat who was sick on the wkend. Shadow wasn't eating/drinking, throwing up bile... I was beside myself!! I took her to Dr. Karin. Every one at the office was friendly, caring and professional. You can tell how much they cared for my kitty. Thank you for taking care of her and getting her back to feeling like new! ❤️

Creature Comforts is amazing. My dog Sarge had a medical emergency and they were amazing. They kept me up to date and explained everything perfectly. I honestly can not say enough positive things and strongly suggest if you have an emergency bring your pet to them.

We had to bring one of our cats in for an urgent issue. They got us in same day, and were able to quickly determine the issue and recommend treatment. Care was quick, accurate, and affordable. The tech who helps us was so kind and caring, and Dr. Mary was fantastic. Highly recommend and look forward to using Creature Comfort in the future
