Our hearts are broken. Our pug Millie passed away due to going into cardiac arrest from the anesthesia provided to her for her spay surgery. Which has a mortality rate of 1 in 2000 / 0.05% risk. She was 13 months old. She was a happy, healthy, bundle of joy that provided that spark of love into our lives. She blended perfectly into our family and we looked forward to the adventures we hoped to have with her. However God had different plans and allowed us to have such a great love for only a few months. We love Millie forever and have hope for that one day we will meet again. Dec. 10 2023-Jan. 27 2025

My 5 month old springer had swallowed something she shouldn’t have so I scheduled an appointment at Crawford Animal Hospital. From the initial call to set up an exam to coming in and onto and through surgery and recovery they took such great care of us. Exhausting all options and showing love and compassion to my nervous girl. Everyone we encountered was truly so kind every step of the way. We just want to say thank you for your awesome care! Always the best service, from the ladies at the front, to the techs, to the amazing Dr Schmitt. Our pup was having some health issues and they were always patient, thorough answering our questions, they always put us at ease. I always recommend Crawford Animal Hospital when I get asked where I take my pup. This is my second dog, with my first dog we had the worst experience at a different vet office, from rude staff, to a vet who looked bothered when we asked questions. I wish I would have known of Crawford sooner, unfortunately our first pup passed before we knew of Crawford. To anyone reading this, they are affordable, compassionate, caring, understanding staff from the front desk staff all the way to the vets!

Crawford Animal Hospital is one of the best vet clinics I have had the pleasure of working with. Each vet that has seen my dogs have been so patient in explaining things. As someone who worries about every spot and sneeze, they are so accommodating and give me peace of mind. When our youngest dog was not taking a vet visit well, we were prescribed medicine to calm him down and squeezed into an appointment the very next morning. I recommend Crawford Animal Hospital to everyone who has pets.

They are all very kind and compassionate. The receptionists are kind when they answer the phone, and always very helpful. The veterinarians provide excellent care to our furry family members, and develop comprehensive care plans, and make sure that I understand the plan, and am comfortable. The techs are kind and gentle with my pets, and make them feel not so scared when we are there. I’m glad to have found this veterinarian clinic!

Everyone there has been extremely kind and welcoming. My dog is going through some challenging medical issues. The staff and provider has spent the needed time with us answering questions and making a plan. The techs were able to draw blood on my dog without sedating him, which never really happens! I am very happy I have found this clinic.
