I rarely leave reviews, however, since I know how hard it can be to find a good veterinarian - especially one you can trust, I’m posting this for other pet parents who may be looking for a doctor. This is a relatively new location, which is clean and modern- and while that’s important, what sets this practice apart are the people who work there. From the moment you step through the front door you are greeted by competent and compassionate staff. From the receptionist to the doctor, himself, it’s clear that everyone is there because they care about animals. The office is very well run - I’ve never waited more than a few minutes between walking in and seeing the doctor. Ever. This probably doesn’t mean much to others, but to me it’s a testament to how competent everyone there is. This summer, I adopted a new cat, Karma, and brought her in for additional vaccines and to “start a file” for her. I also brought my 5 year old cat, Jinx, for a regular visit (I read somewhere that if one cat goes to the vet and comes home smelling like the vet it makes them unrecognizable to the other cats in the house and can cause aggression - so I wanted to avoid that) While there it was discovered that Jinx had tooth decay and was in considerable pain (I had no idea) and would need surgery to remove his teeth. 🥺 The doctor gave me several options, but ultimately I decided to take his advice and scheduled the surgery. As can be expected, a procedure that would require sedation and an overnight stay definitely isn’t cheap, but it wasn’t exorbitant. Fortunately, I was in a position where I could afford to get it done immediately, but I was offered a few payment / treatment options, which I definitely appreciated. The procedure was a success and within a few days, a now pain free Jinx was like a new cat 🥰 It is so important to find a veterinarian that you can trust - both in terms of competence but also ethics - and I am so grateful to Dr Nazar and the team at Cranford Veterinary Hospital. - Raquel, Jinx, & Karma

Dr.kiyko and Amanda were life savers for weeks we’ve been hoping from vet clinics because of a rash on our dogs paw and the only answers we got were oh it’s stress licking you just need to put ointments on it. We did it never healed, Dr kiyko did a full evaluation and found out it was an infection and our dog myla started getting better the next day

Fanta had a rise-rise fall. The office allowed me to bring him in right away for emergency care. Dr Nazar had a compassionate bed-side manner and kept me informed every step of the way. He was able to deliver “bad news” in a comforting and reassuring manner. I’m happy with my experience.

It's always a great visit here. Everyone is so pleasant. The doctors and the assistants. The front-end ladies are always nice. Clean and well kept also.
