The are money grabbers , prescribes any medication to get you out quickly, they manhandle animal with no empathy, and they are racist. The worst experience especially with the old vet guy. The old man was rude and talked down to us when asking questions. My cat almost lost her eye due to the vet’s misdiagnosing her condition and prescribing medication that was nowhere near the proper treatment plan. Thank god I got her to Fremont Animal Hospital that properly checked her out with proper testing and not just by looking at her which country side vet loves to do instead of proper testing with proper test. They prescribed the proper eye drops and not some random gel like that racist rude veterinarian did at county side. So DONT GO HERE ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE POC because they will only try to get your money and leave your animal suffering. I originally had 3 animals going to them but after the scare of my cat almost loosing her solvable eye I moved all of them to Fremont Animal Hospital. We were left traumatized and feeling disrespected. The main veterinarians are a father-daughter duo so I wouldn’t trust their work nor any of their other employees if these are their standards. As a Pet Hospital, Countryside Veterinary Clinic aims to be your trusted partner in maintaining your pet's optimal health throughout their life. We offer a range of services designed to address various aspects of animal health, from routine check-ups to the management of illnesses and injuries. Our goal is to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for both you and your pet.

Based on available information, Countryside Veterinary Clinic is staffed by veterinarians and support personnel dedicated to animal care. One review highlights a positive experience with a Dr. Bailey, describing her as calming, informative, welcoming, kind, comforting, and loving, particularly during a sensitive time involving the humane euthanasia of a beloved pet. This review praised Dr. Bailey's compassion, support offered beyond closing hours, and a follow-up sympathy card.

However, it is important to acknowledge another review that presents a significantly contrasting experience. This review describes the clinic as being focused on financial gain, alleging rushed consultations, rough handling of animals, a lack of empathy, and even accusations of racism. The reviewer detailed an alleged misdiagnosis of their cat's eye condition, prescription of improper medication, and a perceived preference for visual examination over proper testing. This individual reported moving their three animals to another clinic due to this negative experience and advised people of color to avoid Countryside Veterinary Clinic due to concerns about discriminatory treatment. The review also mentioned that the main veterinarians are a father-daughter duo, leading to a lack of trust in their standards and other employees.

Considering these contrasting accounts, it is essential for potential clients to weigh these experiences when making decisions about their pet's care. While one review praises the kindness and compassion of a specific doctor, the other raises serious concerns about the clinic's practices, professionalism, and treatment of both animals and owners.

The specific features of Countryside Veterinary Clinic would typically include a reception area, examination rooms, a surgical suite (if surgical procedures are performed), a laboratory for diagnostic testing, and potentially boarding facilities or a pharmacy for dispensing medications. My old kitty Joplin wasn't in Dr. Bailey's care for long, but she made every experience calming, informative, and welcoming. Joplin came to Dr. Bailey at the age of 16 almost 17, and Dr. Bailey always made sure her treatment would include the highest quality of life possible. Unfortunately, Joplin did not have quality of life anymore and the decision was made to humanely euthanize her. I've never met a doctor so kind, comforting, and loving. It was close to closing time for the clinic and she welcomed us to stay with Joplin as long as we wanted to. She waited outside the room and gave us a big hug as we left. She even sent a card to my house expressing sympathy. I can't say enough positive things about this wonderful doctor and genuinely kind person. Thank you, Doctor Bailey and staff

I called this morning (Saturday) at 8am after my usual vet could not get me in for an emergency visit. Dr. Greg answered, gave me advice, and then decided he could squeeze me in at 8:40. Amazing service and care from the doctor. Everyone was friendly and I was out by 9! Even though I have never been here, he was happy to help out my doggo Hippo. We left with the necessary meds and hopefully she will be better in no time! Thank you again for seeing us in such short notice, Hippo appreciates it! 🙂

Dr. Greg Mathews did a stellar job with my small 1.5 old doe kid. He knew within seconds what was causing her eye to have a problem and sent me home with great care. She is healthy and back to normal now! Great staff that fit me in when it was an emergency.
