Our dog re-injured his ACL so my wife took him to CCO&R. Dr. Nate Miller was fantastic and my wife and Rocket the Wonder Dog felt at ease with him. We scheduled TPLO surgery and were able to get him in earlier due to a cancellation. On the day of surgery, Janell (sp?) the receptionist was very friendly and helpful, fully explaining everything that was going on. Dr. Miller called us later when a blood panel result indicated a possible issue on down the road and gave us the option to reschedule the surgery so their internal medicine staff could evaluate Rocket on the same visit as his surgery. We opted to get the surgery done that day and will do the internal medicine visit at a later date. CCO&R called us to let us know when the surgery started and when it was completed. When we picked Rocket up, Janell again ran down all the post-op instructions and explained everything in the "goodie" bag that we were given. Dr. Miller also talked with us. Rocket is starting his 2nd day of recovery and seems to be doing well. We are very impressed with the friendliness, courtesies, and professionalism of the CCO&R staff. We believe that you get what you pay for with this organization and do not hesitate to recommend them for your pet's care and treatment.

Wonderful from start to finish! The team at the front settled me and my dog in a beautiful private room with toys and a dog bed, and talked me through the process. They came and checked on me periodically and were wonderful with my dog who tends to be reactive in unknown situations. (she was a rescue) Post surgery, they again walked me through the surgery results, and they provided a very detailed booklet with actual xrays, photos of the surgery, and detailed information of what to expect post-surgery, day by day, and week by week through week 6. They also provided me with a reusable bag filled with her medications, ice packs, and a sling to support her, Once she was warmed up post surgery, they brought her back into the private room where I stayed with her until it was time to go home. Two people helped me carry her out and get her settled in my car. That evening, Dr. Miller called to review the surgery with me and check to see how she was doing. I had a concern two days later, and called the clinic just to get an opinion, and once again, Dr. Miller called me back himself to address my concerns. It turns out she was progressing normally. Six weeks later, Dr. Miller performed another TPLO surgery on her other hind leg. Once again, I experienced the same high level of service and attention and she is healing even more quickly this time, most likely because she has one "good" leg. While I would not wish this surgery on anyone, this clinic and Dr. Miller made it a very positive experience. I would highly recommend Colorado Canine Orthopedics!

My 12 year old Lab needed a knee arthroscopy for a torn medial meniscus. This was an outstanding experience for the dog & for our family. Physicians caring for humans could take a few ideas from this group of professionals.
