I had never used this veterinary clinic before the other day and had always used the Fort Henry hospital. My dog started having seizures and I contacted my previous veterinary hospital to let them know I was on the way with an emergency and they blew me off saying that they didnt take walk ins after 11:00 and couldn't be bothered to look at my little buddy who looked like he was dying in my passenger seat. I contacted Colonial Heights animal hospital and without any hesitation they told me to get him in and they would do everything they could to get him back on track. As soon as I got to the colonial heights I noticed the atmosphere was friendlier than Fort Henry and they took extra special care of my little buddy and treated him with dignity and respect. They didn't even over charge! I spent 2x less here on an emergency visit than I would have spent on a normal visit to Fort Henry and with BETTER results. I will absolutely be using this hospital as my main veterinary for all of my animals from here on. If I could give a higher rating just on the simple fact that they took my boy when I was in desperate need then I would. 1000/5 stars!

May 26, 2019 · Mary BakerThey have always cared for my pets. My parents have used CAH for years. There was a time when another vet in the area told us my dog just had a little cough and put him on what we thought were meds to help but turns out they were only vitamins. We took Duke (my boxer) here for a second opinion, he had an object in his lungs. The other vet told us nothing and they did an X-ray too. So CHAH sent him to UT in Knoxville, they did the surgery took out one lung and did other things. He lived a longer life with the help of meds but in my eyes they saved my best friend! Now I’m grown, he is longer here in flesh but spirit and this is the only place I trust with my animals! Thank so much for always being so nice and helpful ❤️❤️❤️❤️
