My dog is a complex, medically fragile sweetheart. The staff at the front desk, vet techs and all the doctors know him and love him. He loves going to the vet (I know!) and hates to leave even though he is a “do not treat” dog bc of his issues. The vet has helped us develop a maintenance regimen for him as well as a “flare up” set of things. When things weren’t getting better at one point they suggested acupuncture and laser therapy which were game changers for him. He’s a happy, mostly healthy (as much as medically possible). They also made sure I was using their online pharmacy bc some of the meds he takes are 50% less expensive than from getting them at the vet like usual. They’re always happy to help us. They’re wonderful and I don’t expect to ever use anyone else. If you love your animals (and I know you do) this is a great place. I wasn’t paid to say this, I just want to make sure people can feel as calm as I do about my pets health.

Jul 05, 2024 · Erika HamlettThe fine doctors at Cole Park have been looking after our special needs cats, our elderly cats, our cats on in-home hospice, and our recent addition of a feral kitten since we moved to NC in 2012. While Dr. Droke has been our primary vet and is totally amazing, all of the veterinarians in the practice are excellent. Exams are thorough and options for care are offered that accommodate the specific needs and personalities of our feline family members. The staff --both the techs and the front desk--are equally committed to excellence. They are gentle with the animals AND with the owners. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming whether you call on the phone or walk through the front door. The cats and I always feel better after a visit with our friends at Cole Park. Cole Park Veterinary Hospital is an essential partner in keeping our pets healthy and happy. We heartily recommend them.
Nov 19, 2024 · Cynthia WeeksI can’t say enough good things about CPV! They were recommended by my vet in Florida who knew of them since she had previously taken classes at UNC. She was awesome and caring and I wanted a vet here just like her. Well, I found them! Everyone at CPV has that genuine caring personality and we’re so great with my new babies. I was nervous because my oldest cat is very moody and nervous around new people. She did so great (for her) and my baby cat loved the attention and Churu. Definitely a food motivated little girl. Dr. Gagliardo was not only professional but I can tell she also loves her patients as does every staff member I met. When we got home, neither baby hid when they were let out of their carriers, which is a good sign. That tells me that the visit didn’t stress them out too much. I highly recommend CPV! UPDATE: Since my original review I’ve been there 3 more times. My cats had to go back to get their shots and during the visit, the vet stated that my oldest cat looked like she was trying to get an ear infection. She didn’t test her ears and a week later (Easter Sunday) we spent over 3 hours at Urgent Vet because she had an ear infection. When I brought her for a recheck, Dr. Doyle (I think that was her name) was awesome and explained everything that was going on with my cat. She’s doing great now. Then a week later, my youngest cat started shaking her head, so I took her in to get her ears checked. The staff and vet were great up until it was time to leave. I was waiting in the exam room for someone to come back with her ear meds, and the vet came in and he politely said I needed to go to the front desk because they all wanted to go to lunch. He assured me her meds would be there…and they weren’t. Now they’ve all gone to lunch and my cat has no meds for her ears. So, Saturday I go to get her meds, well apparently I was confused on what the he was saying. I was supposed to be using the leftover meds from my other cat on her but with a cotton swab. I really wish he would have given written instructions because he’d talked about different options and it wasn’t clear to me what I was supposed to do. I thought he was prescribing her different meds. The receptionist said she had called me to tell me, but I had no missed calls or messages from them. I will continue to take my cats there because my cats and I do like the staff, but I guess I just have to remember to ask more questions.
May 03, 2025 · Linda MI have been a happy client of CPV for decades - they have taken excellent care of all of my sweet dogs over the years. The front desk staff are kind, friendly and responsive, the techs really seem to love their work. And I can't say enough good things about the veterinarians, whose expertise and TLC have helped my pups and me through good times and bad. I am grateful for CPV and highly recommend them.
Mar 05, 2025 · Beth BlackAbbey has been going to Cole Park since she was born. As a pandemic pup, she has struggled with “strange” people so taking her to the vet has been a challenge. This time we needed to take X-rays to check her hips. Dr. Droke was so incredibly patient and thorough. She wrote and called in advance so we could plan what needed to be done, all the while working to make sure I was comfortable with each step. At the office, Abbey was determined to not give in to the sedation but Dr. Droke and team was so patient. We all worked together for the best outcome. The next day, I remembered something I forgot to ask about so I sent an email and Dr. Droke called to discuss. I just can’t say enough good things about the care Abbey receives!
