Dr. Hartsfield and Dr. Serber, are caring hearts with a mind for healing. Dr. Hartsfield, as the owner of the practice takes a hands on approach when she does not have too. I would also like to give a shout out to Abby for being a consummate pro. We are blessed to have our newest member of our team, Ms. Willow, to be on board with CMAH. Thanks again!

Took the dog's Turner evaluation for teeth cleaning. We have three small dogs. 2 Scottie's and 1 Westie. 3 dogs at $350 each is a $1050. They brought back an estimate with optional items on it for $1500 per dog. I thought $4500 for teeth cleaning? They said they have specials and February. We may get another estimate. I think they should have broken down the charges into 2 separate papers. The vet acted like it was probably gonna be $350 per dog. I really think the way everything was presented was overwhelming. I think we will try to get another estimate. I have to say we really like the office. We really like the veterinarian. We're just really confused on our estimate. Could you imagine 3 dogs at $1500 each? That's $4500. Let that sink in.

This place use to be good but not anymore . My pet was misdiagnosed, which led to unnecessary stress and a delay in getting proper treatment. What made the situation even worse was the lack of guidance from the veterinarian. Instead of offering a clear plan or professional recommendations, they repeatedly asked me what I wanted to do, as if I were the expert. I went to a new vet and my pet was correctly diagnosed right away . I was also treated with respect and care something that coal mountain animal hospital lacks!

This place used to be good but now is a complete mess, unfortunately the people at the front desk are now running the place, they are all always in a bad mood and obviously hate their job. Last week I had a problem with the receptionist Joshua who works at front desk he was very rude in the way he was talking to me and his delivery his delivery so I just asked if he could please lask Dr Hatfield to call me to discuss or any doctor he had available, well instead of passing my message to the doctor/owner the receptionist Joshua canceled my pet account.I called back today to ask why I never received a call from any doctor and the receptionist said that is not necessary since my pet account is close. This is so UNACCEPTABLE, probably the doctor doesn’t even know this is happening in their office because the front desk do whatever they want or maybe they know and don’t care. All they care is about you spending money that’s the only time they smile at you and give your a courtesy call but if you are not spending money or you want to discuss an issue they won’t even bother to give you a courtesy call. Customer service is HORRIBLE in this place, my suggestion is to keep your pet safe and avoid the horrible customer service and find a different veterinarian that truly cares about your pet and treat their customers with respect.

My dog was so sick and they tried to help her but she passed away with me at home. I just wish the Vet that helped us would have called me to say something, Anything. The care was very good but as a nurse I understand empathy

Very friendly, thorough and listen to any information or concerns you have about your pet. They made our little girl Maggie very comfortable while examining her and administering her shots. I would recommend them to anyone!
