We have 2 rescue pups that have both come with more than their fair share of problems. We have seen every vet here, and they have all been so sweet with the girls and gotten them both on the track to being happy, healthy pups, without making my wallet cry in pain!

Oct 20, 2024 · Chantel EI wanted to write this review for a longest time but couldn't get myself to do it due to grieving. So here it is: I strongly advise against visiting this clinic, particularly if you're considering an appointment with Dr. Erica Runkle. My experience was deeply troubling; I believe she lacks genuine care for animals and most knowledge in veterany care. During a visit, she administered a rabies vaccine to my dog while he was on antibiotics for diarrhea. I am convinced this decision contributed to my dog's later diagnosis of Hemangiosarcoma, which occurred just under a year later. It was disheartening to see a medical professional who seems more focused on promoting specific brands, like Hill's Science Diet, rather than truly considering what's best for each individual pet. The advice on rawhide bones being better than natural treats is just idiotic to me. The atmosphere felt more like a sales pitch than a place for compassionate care. Additionally, I found her demeanor off-putting—perhaps it was the mask-wearing (this was at the end of 2022) that affected her judgment. She had to make sure everyone in the clinic wore masks. If you value your pet's health and well-being, I urge you to seek care elsewhere. The last thing you want is to be misled about your dog's nutrition and care. Who in their right mind would give a rabies vaccine to an immunocompromised dog?!

Oct 26, 2024 · Andrea Masotti1/8/2025 - Coal Mine Animal Hospital saved my dog's life. We couldn't be happier and we are so blessed to have them care for our pups. 12 17 24 Update. Very kind and caring Vet clinic. Highly recommend. You can tell they really care for your pups and customers. We bring our dogs here for dental cleaning and nail trims. They are super friendly and take good care of our pups. One time my dog ate chocolate from those chocolate turkeys you make at Thanksgiving. I didn't know how many she ate but was bet concerned. I called them late on a Friday afternoon and they had me give her some peroxide water to induce vomiting. I called back twice and they helped reassure me. It did work. Saturday morning thru even called to see how she was doing. I love them, great veterinarian established and so blessed to have them in our community. 08/01/2023 - Very response and friendly service.
Jan 08, 2025 · Matt CloutierBest vet office I've ever been to, and I have been to A LOT. I have never felt so comfortable with a vets office before, I don't feel like profit is the goal. I used to dread having to take my pets for checkups or emergencies because I always felt like the vets/techs didn't have our best interests at heart or were not very kind dealing with me/my family. But at Coal Mine Animal Hospital, the vets are amazing, they explain their treatment plans thoroughly and don't try to tack on extra things to bring your bill up. But the vet techs? They are what makes this place particularly awesome to me. It feels like they actually care about my pet and their customer service skills are 10/10. I literally wouldn't even leave my dog unattended with my family or friends, but I would leave him with these techs lol. I'm sorry I can't think of any names, we've been coming for 2 years and we've met quite a few.
