I just moved to the area and had a great first visit with Dr. Kendall. Her and the other staff were extremely friendly towards me and my kitty. He seemed very comfortable and at ease with everyone. The office was clean and comfortable. Dr. Kendall explained everything very well and I really loved how she treated my cat, he got plenty of treats! I am looking forward to continuing to receive care for my baby from Clocktower!

Dec 07, 2024 · JABeware: please save your animals and do not use Clocktower for sick visits!! We brought our new, 11-week-old Bernedoodle for a well-visit on the evening of Dec 5. Our puppy received a clean bill of health and a distemper vaccine from Dr. Kendall. Dr. Kendall also took a stool sample and did an ear check. Knowing that our puppy may suffer from vaccine side effects, we spent the entire next day monitoring him. The next afternoon, on Dec 6, our puppy started to vomit and had diarrhea, so we called Clocktower at 2pm. My sister, a surgeon, and I, a lawyer, were assured that our puppy was just suffering from vaccine side effects. We were told to stop feeding him for the next 4-6 hours and to pick up an electrolyte solution to prevent dehydration. We asked a few other follow-up questions, and the staff said she would talk to Dr. Kendall and get back to us. We never received a call back. Two hours later, when our puppy's symptoms worsened, my sister called for a same-day sick visit with Dr. Kendall. Even though it was about 4pm, four hours before closing, my sister was told that there was no appointment left and that we would have to wait until the next day. Being a physician, my sister understood the severity of our puppy's symptoms, and she insisted on a same day appointment. After some delay and back-and-forth, the staff said we could bring our puppy in, but for an additional $60 same-day visit. We brought our puppy in at 5pm, the next available opening. After waiting for over an hour, Dr. Kendall came out to tell us that our puppy had a seizure while in her care, and she gave him fluids and Dextrose (sugar) to raise his blood sugar. Dr. Kendall was visibly shaken and told us she would have to call around for an overnight hospital that provides specialized care because if our puppy were to go home, he would die of liver failure overnight. We asked what could be the cause of his sudden, acute liver problem, and Dr. Kendall surmised it could be wild mushroom (in December) or potentially the vaccine. More time passed before our puppy was released to go to Hope Advanced Veterinary Care. For the sick visit at Clocktower, we were charged $789.19. The sick-visit charge was on top of the $309.90 well-visit, less than 24 hours earlier, when we were told our puppy was perfectly healthy. Despite every effort at Hope, our puppy died the next morning. We are sharing our experience so that another family could avoid Clocktower. For a place that calls itself an “animal hospital,” Clocktower's vets and staff are not equipped to handle sick visits and emergency situations. If my sister and I had listened to the staff and waited, our puppy would have died at home. The charges for the same day sick-visit were ridiculously high. At Hope Advanced Veterinary Care, our puppy's bill was ten times more, but we had no issue paying it due to the excellent, competent, and compassionate care our puppy received and the constant communication that we received throughout the night. We hope another family would not have to suffer the incompetence by the staff of Clocktower.
Dec 11, 2024 · Nancy NghiemCannot say enough about how great Clocktower is! I’ve only been a client less than a year but have had so many positive experiences. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I had a concern with my cat Pablo and they got me right in. Dr. Schneider gets a special shoutout for explaining things really well. You can tell how much she cares for animals. Can’t recommend this practice enough!
Feb 17, 2025 · Jessica WalshClocktower has taken care of our dogs throughout their life times. They are a kind, empathetic and detail oriented team. Very grateful to have such a caring veterinarian team who treat our dogs with compassion and are very responsive and spend time to get to know them. We live farther from them now but continue to bring our dog to them because they are so great and can't imagine another vet's office to be as special.
