As a physician I can confidently say these people are con artists. Absolutely predatory in their padding of the bill. You go in for a regular check up and they find a way to surprise you and charge you for 2000$ all over again. They add unnecessary procedures and charge a ridiculous amount for them. This last time when we told them the bill was ridiculous they elected to delay 2 of his vaccines instead of hundreds of dollars of useless padding to try to make us to come back in 2 weeks so they would get to do this all over again. Truly despicable practices. I will never go in again. Would never recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Dendtler and the staff here have been an amazing group to care for our rambunctious and highly anxious young cattle dog. Some of his anxiety is the by product of experiences he has had at previous vets, but the team at Clinton Hill Clinic has helped our dog make significant progress. They take the time to warm up to your pet and make them feel secured while providing care. Our dog is highly reactive but this team has been able to accommodate and provide care in many circumstances, always coming up with the safest and least stressful path to care. Coming here is a professional and informative experience and I could not recommend it more. Lastly, all prices are fair and well explained. They also will work closely with your insurance for maximum reimbursement.

UPDATE: Friendly and such caring staff! They immediately make you feel like family and it is obvious that they care a great deal about your pet. Your concerns become their concerns and they see things through the best way possible! This was my initial review ^ from 11 months ago. I had an appointment and unfortunately must update it for the worse. I have never had to update a review I’ve written until today. It seems that with every visit, I’m paying almost $2,000 each time without fail or notice of how the bill is charged. It has truly put a strain on my family’s finances. Additionally, the first visit or two I was present for all vaccinations and small procedures. Today, my dog was taken to the back room for everything - even the regular vaccines. I saw nothing of what happened today but definitely paid for it. To be fair, the only point in their favour is that they truly love your pet, and they are very personable. Dr. D is a great listener and educator (in and out of pet healthcare). Unfortunately, love and education aren’t enough to keep me coming back because I love my dog too much to pay such a high amount until one day I find myself in the position of not being able to pay for his next bill/food order so that I must give him away.

The vets here are the best! It’s immediately evident how much they care. They always give great care and thoughtful explanations to all our questions. Our dog loves them!

The staff here has been taking care of all of my animals for years and truly care about them… and me! I have been very satisfied with the level of care and support from everyone there.
