We were in the process of looking for a new vet that was closer to us and affordable with the best care, when one day my dog got very ill. I noticed CityVet was now open and so we called to see if they could get him in the next day and but instead they squeezed him in within a few hours the same day. I could not believe how affordable the exam and ultrasounds were. We saved a lot of money compared to our last 2 vets. You will also get a cost estimate prior to getting anything done! What really surprised me is that they had the ultrasound on site, so what was a 1.5 week process (testing to results) at my last vet took under an hour at CityVet!! And it was so much more affordable!! This is the most affordable with the best care I’ve experienced in Virginia Beach. We are beyond impressed with the care, the customer service, and the overall atmosphere of CityVet. I’d give 10/10 stars if I could! The staff called us several times to check in and make sure my dog was doing okay at home, even Dr. Feiste herself checked in! We felt so cared for. From the front desk staff, the vet nurses, and Dr. Feiste, your furbaby will be in great hands! They are so loving and compassionate and your furbaby will get lots of love coming here. They have coffee and other nice beverages to choose from if you have to wait a few minutes but I never wait long, they are fast! Here’s a picture of our best boy with their kissing booth from Valentine’s Day :) Dr. Feiste healed my dog, we thought he was at the end but she was quick to treat accurately and I feel so happy to have my furbaby in their care now. Take your furbabies here!!

Amazing place! Very clean, quiet and offer snacks and beverages while you wait. Also, the receptionist is very polite and courteous. I am beyond words to explain how the veterinarian and her technician handled my 110 lb golden retriever. That’s how fantastic they were, and with so much love and compassion for animals. My big baby did great and he was very comfortable. Usually he’s a nervous wreck with anxiety. Also, he has been on the medication for several days now and his cough is gone and back to his crazy self. Thank you CityVet for having such an incredible staff with big hearts.

These people are amazing! We just relocated and knew we’d be on the hunt for a new vet soon, but we had to find one sooner than expected due to our male Aussie getting a skin infection 1 week post-move. Their Google reviews didn’t let me down, you could never ask for a more caring team. We had only made it out of their parking lot after a mild procedure when my fur baby started freaking out so bad in the car due to discomfort that I was genuinely concerned about getting us home safely. We returned at closing time, and the entire staff stayed 20 min late to administer more meds, lend us blankies to make him more comfortable, provide a better cone than we had, and help me block off my front seat access. I cannot say enough great things, they went beyond customer service…. these are genuine caring ladies!

I was extremely pleased with the clinic's transparent and professional approach. The staff's friendliness and genuine care for my puppy were evident. I especially valued the upfront discussion of fees, ensuring complete clarity. Their integrity was further demonstrated when they didn't charge me for the visit due to my puppy's age. I'm confident I'll be a returning client.

We adopted a dog from VBACC with some health concerns. They were able to see us quickly and get my boy feeling better. The staff is friendly and I never felt rushed.
