Dr Mark Steeley and his wonderful staff assisted us today in saying goodbye to a beloved loyal furry friend of 15 years. Our sweet pup had lived life to its fullest. But was in constant pain and misery at the end. Dr Mark gently gave her a sedative, and gave us a few minutes of privacy and enjoyment with our sweet pup as we spoke encouragement and love and gave her treats. She drifted off to sleep and was gone, as if taking one of her usual naps. Chilhowee Veterinary Clinic was tender and kind and caring, especially the last six months of our mini dox' 15 year extraordinary life. We were beyond relieved they were there to assist and love us through this difficult but necessary act of final love to a beloved pet. These folks at Chilhowee deeply love and care for animals, as well as the pet owners. Thank you Dr Mark and staff, you were truly an answer to prayers during this difficult time.

This was our first visit, and I loved how the vet and techs took time to get to know London. I also appreciated that I was able to come into the exam room. So many offices are not allowing owners come inside anymore. It saddens me because our fur babies are as much apart of our family as our children. THANK YOU!

We've taken our fur babies to Chilhowee Vet for over 20 years! They take sure great care of our dogs and when our sweet Macy passed away from cancer, they couldn't have been more supportive. Dr. Steele was so very compassionate and even checked up on us the day after followed by a card on the mail. I wouldn't take my babies anywhere else!

A little cramped in the waiting room and a little difficult to get in and out of the parking lot at certain times of day. Not the best smell but not the typical rancid animal poop smell a lot of vet clinics have. Great clinic, professional front end staff. One vet tech kept kissing my pets head but a little love didn't hurt anyone. Not a bad place if you need yearly checkups, medicines and routine, not more or less expensive than any other place. Very iffy, sketchy and concerning when there is a problem that is outside of the norm. Have seen almost all of the Vets there and each one gave a very canned and textbook answer leading to the same treatments and no real diagnosis to my pets problem. Will not advise you on medicines and foods outside what they promote or can charge you for. If it is a complicated issue, they either purposely promote treatments they can keep charging you for perpetually, have no idea and will not do any further research or gaslight you into thinking there are no more answers or alternatives. Again, my pet was a special case but if you have a dog, the clinic is convenient to your home, not a bad option.

Disorganized. Unprepared. Cramped office. Chaotic. Made appt a week in advance. Had to wait in the car ans they were over 15 minutes late seeing me for my appt. Finally got in. Records hadn’t been transferred. More waiting. Dogs still did not get the vaccines the appt was made for and I explicitly told them were needed to board in three weeks. The invoice even stated they were due for these vaccines in two weeks. Gave them a three bc the techs that saw my dogs were at least good to them, but overall staff was indifferent. Was hoping to use them for grooming too, but I would not go back.
