Re: Animal Wellness Center- Oak Creek. Fairly new client here, established 1 yr ago and have had two visits with my cat. Both appointments were with Dr. Hillary who was wonderful, she's very personable & approachable and took the time to explain everything. One thing that I really appreciated was the breakdown in cost regarding elective bloodwork prior to procedure taking place. I would have done it regardless, but the fact Dr. Hillary was considerate & informed me ahead of time was quite kind/ courteous. I hope to have Dr. Hillary as my cat's vet for the duration of her life.

Transfered from another vet and they were able to see my cat the next day. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

We began going to Chicago Road Vet when we moved out to Oak Creek when I was younger. I have since gotten married and have moved out of Oak Creek and now I make the 1/2 hour drive to Chicago Road Vet even though there is a vet clinic within walking distance of my house because of the amazing care I and all of my pets have received throughout the years! They are extremely helpful and truly have a caring compassionate attitude towards every animal that walks through the doors! As long as I live in Wisconsin I will continue to go there :)

I just love my vet clinic. All the ladies here are so wonderful and caring, weather it be the ladies who answer the phone or the ladies who take care of my little bug Toby and Dr Hillary herself they are all amazing. Thank you all so much for always taking such good care of my fur baby🥰

My review is only based on price. If I had to review how they treat the dogs and care for them, that would be an excellent review. I find that Chicago Road Vet Clinic is somewhat pricey for a few of the normal routine yearly services. I have been taking my dogs to him for the last few years and have spent close to $2K on normal services. Only researching recently and getting quotes for the same services, I was disappointed to find out that Chicago Road Vet was not the cheapest when it came to the yearly flea and tick repellent, rabies, heartguard, etc.... They are not the most expensive, but they are not the cheapest either. Now the way they spoil and handle your dogs are top notch. They really seem to care. I am shocked to read the message about Dr. Ruhl above or below my current message. He seems to really care for the animals. I never experienced him calling me personally asking for payment because I usually charge my CC for all services. But I wouldnt put it past anyone to harass someone for payment up front if their business is hurting. I can also speak on their willingness to fit your pet in last minute to be checked out. I have had numerous emergencies with our dogs in the past. I would say 5 out of the 6 times I called in to see if our dogs could be seen we were only denied once and saw the vet the next day. They are very accommodating. Service is top notch; prices could be more competitive as we are still in a depression. I hope they take my review to heart and review price structure. They are fantastic when it comes to service.
