My first experience here was because my dog broke his leg, and since my first trip I have never doubted my decision to continue coming here. This place and most importantly the staff have been lifesavers. I’ve called a dozen times with a range of questions and issues and they have always been so helpful. The care and the results that come from here are outstanding.

The services offered at Center For Veterinary Care are broad and designed to address the diverse health needs of companion animals. As a full-service veterinary hospital, they provide general wellness care, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and preventative health programs essential for maintaining a pet's long-term well-being. A particularly strong suit for CVC Millbrook, highlighted prominently in customer testimonials, is their ability to accurately diagnose and effectively treat complex or misdiagnosed conditions. The case of a German Shepherd diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy elsewhere, only for Dr. Schwartz to correctly identify that the dog did not have the disease and treat underlying issues, showcases their diagnostic acumen and commitment to thorough investigation. This goes beyond routine care, indicating a capacity for sophisticated medical problem-solving. Furthermore, their approach to pets with behavioral challenges, specifically reactive dogs, is a standout service. They have demonstrated an exceptional ability to handle animals that other vets might deem unmanageable without sedation or muzzling, creating a stress-free experience for these sensitive pets. This includes not only medical treatment but also the emotional support and understanding crucial for such animals. Their services thus encompass not just physical health but also the behavioral and emotional well-being of their patients.

The overall environment is one where pet owners feel heard, supported, and confident in the care their animals are receiving. The "lifesavers" description by a client who has called "a dozen times with a range of questions and issues" points to a supportive and responsive administrative and medical team, creating a trusting environment even over the phone. This emphasis on clear communication and empathetic service contributes significantly to a positive overall experience for both pets and their human companions.

I brought our freshly turned 4 year old German Shepherd to Dr. Schwartz when another veterinarian diagnosed him with degenerative myelopethy and gave our boy 6 months - 2 years to live. Our dog does not have this disease. Our dog also is a reactive GSD that other vets would demand that he be sedated and muzzled prior to a visit. I was hesitant, due to past experiences to bring in a 106 lb dog in without being muzzled. Dr. Schwartz and staff took my boy, without issue. Unmuzzled. He was happy to see Dr. Schwartz and the entire staff and behaved wonderfully. I couldn't be happier with the care we received. Dr. Schwartz is so knowledgeable and treated our boy with other underlying issues that the former vet refused to. I literally cried happy tears for days. We now have a playful 4 year old dog back who is thriving. I could not recommend Millbrook CVC enough. I would give 1000 stars if it was an option. Thank you to you all!

I would gladly recommend Dr Schwartz and his crew. My young hunting dog suffered a pretty traumatic eye injury this season. Dr Schwartz was fantastic with the way he approached and treated it. Every visit during the treatment showed his eye getting better and better. I can gladly say every thing went well and his eye completely healed. He is happily back in the field as if nothing happened. We had nothing but great experiences every time we went in.

Dr Schwartz and his staff deserve the highest rating possible. They are caring and responsive. I have known Dr. Schwartz for many years. He is knowledgeable, problem oriented, thorough and practical. He is head and shoulders above any small animal vet I have encountered over my decades with cats. I am really hard to please and totally devoted to my animals. Wouldn’t consider consulting anyone else.

I can’t say it enough. The drs. and staff here are simply amazing. I am impressed with their knowledge and the care they give my Roxy girl. I wouldn’t put trust in anyone else with my dog. My girl needed an emergency vet appointment and he was willing to take her in on a Sunday evening. Much is to be said about that! I can’t thank them enough for looking out for my girl.
