Services: I highly recommend this clinic for cat care. My 21 year old cat got to live his best life in his last couple of years after being seen here. Thanks to Dr Filip’s care, we were able to regulate Sonic’s hyperthyroidism and keep his weight up. When it was time to say goodbye, Dr Filip and all the staff, were compassionate as my daughter and I grieved while saying our final goodbyes. I’ve also brought two stray cats here for care before they found forever homes. Costs: Veterinary services are expensive everywhere but I do think the prices here are inline with other clinics. Dr Filip is very upfront about costs vs outcome on treatment plans. I’ve been to two other clinics in the Houston area and received lower quality care at higher prices. Drop offs: I appreciate this service for care if you need a walk-in appt but can’t wait in office. The clinic is busy but they will still try to fit your pet in when you need care. Honestly my pets probably do better with the staff when I’m not there stressing and hovering anyway. 😂

Mar 04, 2025 · Nina AveryI’ve mostly lucked out with doctors and veterinarians, but there are few I can recommend as highly and as confidently as Cat Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Christensen saved my cat’s life when he was a kitten (recent photo, now 15), and I’ll never forget it. You will feel both confidence and comfort having your cat in Dr. C’s care.
Nov 03, 2024 · Katya HornerWe love the Cat Vet Clinic so far! We've seen Dr. Tibbs and Dr. Christensen for new pet exams/vaccines, and both doctors and the techs were great. They took their time to listen and answer all of our many questions, made recommendations on all kinds of things from food to behavior, and didn't rush us. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and loving to us and our cats. They have evening and weekend hours, which makes things really convenient.
Jan 30, 2025 · Zoe NuhferWonderful staff and great visit with Dr. Filip. I felt heard and understood with regard to my cat’s current condition. I feel encouraged his quality of life will improve substantially. Thanks for being there and providing great care even during the freeze!
Jan 22, 2025 · S HiterWe are grateful for Dr. Filip’s experienced guidance. He always provides a detailed explanation about medical recommendations and rationale. All of the staff treat our kitties with kindness and professionalism.
Mar 06, 2025 · Stacey HudspethI felt the second opinion/consultation visit was very thorough and that Wasabi was so well-cared for by all vet team members. We had a comprehensive history and physical exam, a reasonable stepwise management plan, and additionally, the vet technicians were one of the best I've ever seen draw her blood. I am hopeful we can wean her off her current medications. :)
Mar 19, 2025 · AliceUpdating my review 7 months after leaving the first one: I had to get my senior girl in for an emergency appointment today. Dr Christensen and the whole team were absolutely WONDERFUL with her. Having worked so closely with Dr Nava the last two or so years, I was sad to drop my cat off without her working today and even though I trust the team here, seeing my cat sick and going with a vet we hadn’t personally seen yet added a layer of worry. Could not be more thrilled with how well taken care of my sweet girl was, and how thoughtful communication with me was throughout the day since I had to leave her there. She is a different cat tonight than she was this morning and I am so grateful she is feeling so much better. I truly know she’s in good hands here, no matter whose they are. Original review: I have been bringing my orange girl here since I got her in 2018. She is obviously very precious to me and after an experience I didn’t love at another cat centered vet, I switched to this clinic. I’ve worked with most of the doctors here, but recently began working more closely with Dr. Nava specifically for some chronic issues my senior girl has been experiencing, so we’ve seen a lot of each other over the last several months. I value Dr. Nava’s patience in answering all of my questions thoroughly, and I really do feel like she is actually listening to me when I voice concerns or ideas of how to help my cat. Of course she is the doctor and expert, but since I am the caretaker who sees my cat every day, I very much appreciate what feels like a version of collaborative care to make sure we get my baby on the right track. I had some other concerns come up during a recent visit and she took those very seriously as well, which really made me feel like they care. Being listened to goes a long way in establishing trust and I am thankful to Dr Nava and all the friendly staff here for providing that experience and not rolling their eyes when I advocate for my cat. Dr Nava has also very consistently explained the “why” behind everything she does or suggests, rather than simply telling me what we are doing with no context and adding it to the bill. I think it’s important to know the ins and outs of what my cat needs, just like you would a human loved one, and Dr Nava makes sure I’m well informed. I have had other vets treat me like a helicopter pet parent, and maybe I am, but Dr Nava doesn’t make me feel like that is a negative thing. My cat is absolutely everything to me and I am grateful to have a vet who understands that without exploiting it.
Mar 27, 2025 · Dana WDr. Filip is amazing and really trustful. Thanks to him, one of our cats had a few bonus years after going into remission from cancer. Another cat he looked at her and was very honest saying it was cancer, without pushing for a lot of unnecessary bloodwork, which they had estimated at $4k at Gulf Coast. Unfortunately, it was too late to treat her. I wish we had seen him way earlier. 🥲 The other vets are not as good. One of them suggested euthanasia to my perfectly fine cat because I said she was a difficult cat with medication - she only had stage 2 kidney disease. Turns out she is still alive and doing relatively well a year later. So glad I didn’t listen to her and changed to dr. Filip. Highly recommend this cat clinic- for Dr. Filip only.
