I cannot put into words how thankful I am for the kind hearted people who work here. I rescued a cat that had hypatic lipidosis, and these wonderful souls saved his life. It was a very long, hard road, but they were there every step of the way. No matter how many times I would call, or how many questions I had, they were always there for us. At one point, I was very discouraged, and they may not know it, but they are what pushed me through it. I would recommend Cat Hospital of Austin to ANYONE who has a cat. I have always brought my cats here for regular check ups and other non emergencies, the prices are fair, and they all treat you like you are part of the family! They really showed me that there are good people in this world, and don't see your animal as dollar signs, as most vet offices do. I cannot thank this amazing group of people enough, I was truly blessed to have them during this very trying time. 馃樆馃樆馃樆So, if you want good people taking care of your cats, who won't gouge you on prices, this is the only place to go.

Welcome to Cat Hospital of Austin

Welcome to the Cat Hospital of Austin, a specialized Pet Hospital located at 13264 Pond Springs Rd, Austin, TX 78729, USA. As the name suggests, this clinic is uniquely dedicated to providing comprehensive veterinary care exclusively for cats. Based on heartfelt testimonials from cat owners, the Cat Hospital of Austin is renowned for its kind-hearted staff, exceptional medical expertise, and a genuine love for feline patients.

The environment of the Cat Hospital of Austin is specifically tailored to the needs of felines. One reviewer highlighted the significant benefit of a "cat-only atmosphere," noting that it helps to make vet visits a little better, especially for cats who might be anxious or stressed in the presence of other animal species. This suggests a calm and quiet setting, designed to minimize the stress that cats can often experience in a multi-species veterinary clinic. By focusing solely on cats, the clinic creates a space that is more attuned to their specific sensitivities, potentially including feline-specific pheromones, quieter waiting areas, and exam rooms equipped with cat-friendly features.

As a specialized Pet Hospital for cats, the Cat Hospital of Austin offers a comprehensive range of services to ensure the health and well-being of your feline companions. Based on the customer reviews, these services include routine examinations, vaccinations, and major surgeries. One particularly moving review detailed the exceptional care provided to a rescued cat with hepatic lipidosis, a serious liver condition. The staff at the Cat Hospital of Austin were described as "wonderful souls" who "saved his life," demonstrating their expertise in managing complex and critical feline health issues. The reviewer also mentioned using the clinic for regular check-ups and non-emergencies, indicating their capability in preventive and general feline care.

A key feature of the Cat Hospital of Austin is the compassionate and dedicated nature of its team. The reviewer whose cat battled hepatic lipidosis emphasized the unwavering support received from the staff, noting that they were always available to answer questions and offer encouragement throughout a long and difficult journey. This level of care suggests a team that genuinely cares about their patients and their owners, going above and beyond in their commitment. The sentiment that they "don't see your animal as dollar signs, as most vet offices do" speaks volumes about their ethical and patient-focused approach.

Another significant feature is the expertise in feline-specific medicine. Being a cat-only hospital implies a deep understanding of feline anatomy, physiology, common cat diseases, and the unique ways in which cats can present illnesses. The positive outcomes reported by reviewers, including successful treatment of serious conditions and positive experiences with routine care and surgeries, attest to the skill and knowledge of the veterinarians and staff.

While one reviewer mentioned that the clinic might be "a little more pricey than some clinics," they also noted that this is "expected from specialized clinics," suggesting that the higher cost reflects the specialized expertise and cat-focused environment provided. Another reviewer found the prices to be "fair," indicating that while quality care is prioritized, the pricing is reasonable for the level of service received.

This is my go-to place for my two cats. I've used them for routine examinations, vaccinations, and major surgeries and the quality and care of service is unmatched. It is a little more pricey than some clinics, but it is expected from specialized clinics. My cats are big babies so the cat-only atmosphere that they provide helps to make the visits a little better!

They always take great care of my cats! Dr. P-L, Chelsea, Lauren, Eliza and everyone else there truly love cats and are all super nice! Very knowledgeable and caring and more importantly get my kitties back on track when they don鈥檛 feel good.

We boarded our precious baby here while on vacation and specifically requested the vet see her daily for an active lesion related to her chronic skin condition. When we got her back, the wound was much bigger, matted, stunk of infection and she was in so much pain she yowled and growled. Her pulse was almost 200/min. After seeing another vet for treatment and realizing the severity of the wound, we called Cat Hospital of Austin and the vet offered free drugs as a consolation. If she needed drugs, why didn鈥檛 she receive them during her Hospitalization? Our cat is still heavily wounded, has been wearing a cone for a week and is only now beginning to feel better. Her life was in danger. Run far and fast from this place. I apologize for the photos. I posted them to help protect your cat.

If you live in Austin and you have a cat, this is the vet for you! I can鈥檛 recommend Cat Hospital of Austin enough. Everybody from the front desk to the vet tech was so kind and genuinely listened to what I was saying. And I could tell they really care about the cats they see. 鉂わ笍
