I’ve been a very beyond pleased client/becoming a friend to all staff at the Cat Hospital of PH, since 1996, to the present of 2024. I moved here from Illinois, in 1996, very grateful to find these beautiful souls who have thankfully found their passions, to become vet techs&veterinarians. (I’ve always rescued my feline angels from various situations, including shelters, cat colonies, and literally off the streets…you name it….every one was welcomed with open arms by all staff including Dr Bob Marrazzo, who established this caring retreat, followed by his caring daughter, Dr Kimberly Marrazzo, and when neither were available to attend due to having to adult, recruiting sub vets who are as invested as they are.) I’ve had at least 10 beautiful feline souls, since my move to FL in the 90’s, all cared for, by them, throughout their lives, from day one of rescue…to their last day💔. All of the staff involved did everything they could to give my angels their life which they very happily lived. I’m forever grateful to this practice established by Dr Bob Marrazzo. (I presently, unbelievably, have only one furry left, who is a feline, out of a furry 💝crew of 7, which included an irreplaceable soul of a 70 pound dog, Lovely Leia, who loved those kitties as much as I did. She’s gone as of 7/16/24, due to sudden blood cancer; her loss has been indescribable.) It’s beyond surreal, daily, that it’s only myself and my Snowshoe.Yet, I am so thankful she’s still here with me. I rescued her out of a colony, in 2009, as a 4 month old kitten, who had a deformed/broken leg. But, she’s still here after 15 years, because Dr Bob Marrazzo cared enough to come up with a unique plan to save her leg. To sum up…Snowshoe and I are very thankful to be here, with each other, today, always grateful to The Cat Hospital family of PH for taking care of her, and my furry family since the 90’s.

Have been a client for 26 years. I asked for a same day appointment for my very sick cat that has been seen there since he was a kitten, and seen yearly for exams. The doctor absolutely refused to see my cat and referred me to an emergency clinic 20 miles away. Very disappointed. The original doctor that started the practice would have made time for my kitty.

We need to UPDATE their rating. All the positive reviews are mainly for Dr Robert (Bob) Marrazzo and his daughter DVM Kimberly Marrazzo. Neither one of them are at the clinic any longer. Bob has retired and Kimberly is (permanently?) home for family reasons. At the helm are other (new) doctors. When one consults the website, you can only see the picture of 4 team members out of the 12 listed. On a recent visit my cats were treated by a DVM whose name, picture and bio were not even published on the website. I prefer to know who will treat my felines beforehand. UPDATE needed. When my set appointment was reminded by a text message it stipulated to arrive 15 minutes early to the set appointment time and to bring recent stool samples for both cats. On the day/time of the visit, receptionist was surprised to see us showing up 15 minutes early. This was apparently not necessary. Phone message needs UPDATE. In the Dr’s office I was told that bringing in the feces was for sick cats only not for yearly exams. Phone message needs UPDATE. The timing for yearly visits is 30 consecutive minutes per cat. Both cats were seen in less than 30 minutes. I definitely felt that the exams were rushed. Not comfortable. When looking at the worksheet/invoice for both cats, I discovered that one cat was 12 lbs 3 ozs and the second one’s weight was miraculously 0 lbs 0 ozs. This happens when you rush. It does not inspire confidence at all. After the exam I was given an information sheet listing some products that could safely be administered to the cats to treat their conditions. When trying to order these I learned that most of the products were no longer available. UPDATE needed. Inquiring on how prescriptions can be filled with online pharmacies, I was told that the online pharmacy needed to contact the vet’s office directly and the prescription would be fulfilled over the phone/fax or email. On such a recent trial the office informed me they no longer provide that service and that the Rx would be mailed to me so I would need to contact the pharmacy myself. Really? This was my first visit to the Cat Hospital at Palm Harbor. Needless to say that will also be my last. The whole procedure from making the appointment to ordering medications was a total failure. I lost confidence in their setup, professionalism and knowledge.

Totally thrilled to have found a Cat hospital with a great team of caring professionals! Our first appointment was made in a timely manner, and was efficient with how our kitty care needs were met. Comforting to know we have them there to care for our sweet kitties!

The Cat Hospital At Palm Harbor has helped my cats immensely! Dr.Marrazzo has educated me more on my cats than I have known about for their health and happiness. I appreciate his time to explain thoroughly about medical issues my cats have faced. I love how my first time at the hospital, the technician put towels with a spray to help relax them! The hospital is also oriented towards relaxing the cats and people. My cats Bali and Nacho appreciate the team to help find underlying issues. Other vet hospitals have failed to do so. I will continue to come to Dr.Marrazzo. I recommend him and his practice! Thank you!!
