Omg what a sad 😥 day I had putting my beloved Teddy down. The staff and Dr gave me all the time I needed with him and were so comforting and loving. I will never forget how good they were to me.

Welcome to Cape Cod Veterinary Specialist: Schulze Heidi DVM
Welcome to Cape Cod Veterinary Specialist, a dedicated pet hospital located at 11 Bourne Bridge Approach, Buzzards Bay, MA 02532, USA, under the expertise of Schulze Heidi DVM. Serving the Cape Cod region and surrounding areas, Cape Cod Veterinary Specialist functions as both a specialty veterinary practice and an emergency pet hospital, providing crucial services for your beloved animal companions, especially during critical times and when specialized care is required.
The environment at Cape Cod Veterinary Specialist appears to be one of compassion and professionalism, catering to both routine and emergency situations. One отзыв poignantly describes the experience of saying goodbye to a beloved pet, Teddy. The отзыв emphasizes the comfort and love provided by the staff and Dr. Schulze during this incredibly difficult time, highlighting their sensitivity and the ample time given to the owner to be with their pet. This speaks volumes about the empathetic and supportive environment offered at the hospital, particularly during emotionally challenging end-of-life care.
As a veterinary specialist practice, Cape Cod Veterinary Specialist, led by Schulze Heidi DVM, likely offers advanced diagnostic and treatment options that may not be available at general veterinary clinics. While the specific areas of specialization are not detailed in the provided information, a veterinary specialist typically has undergone extensive additional training in a particular field of veterinary medicine, such as surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, dermatology, or oncology. This expertise allows them to handle more complex cases and provide specialized care for pets with specific health issues.
In its capacity as an emergency pet hospital, Cape Cod Veterinary Specialist is equipped to handle urgent and critical medical situations that require immediate attention. The second отзыв describes bringing two dogs in for severe and constant sneezing after a day at the beach. The diagnosis was relatively straightforward, requiring only Children's Benadryl. However, the отзыв highlights the cost associated with an emergency veterinary hospital visit, noting a $250 consult fee per dog plus the cost of medication. While the owner acknowledged that it was an ER vet hospital, they did express some concern about the billing process at checkout.
The fact that the facility is identified as an "ER vet hospital" is a key feature. Emergency veterinary hospitals provide immediate medical and surgical care for pets with acute illnesses or injuries that cannot wait for a regular veterinary appointment. These facilities are typically equipped with advanced monitoring and diagnostic equipment and have staff on hand to deal with critical situations around the clock or during extended hours.
The отзыв regarding the sneezing dogs, despite the billing issue, does indicate that the hospital is capable of diagnosing and treating common acute conditions. The seemingly high consultation fee is often associated with the overhead costs of running an emergency facility, which includes maintaining specialized equipment and having staff available at all times.
Given the dual nature of Cape Cod Veterinary Specialist as both a specialty practice and an emergency hospital, pet owners in the Buzzards Bay and Cape Cod areas have access to a higher level of veterinary care when their pets require it. Whether it's a complex medical condition needing specialized expertise or a sudden illness or injury requiring immediate attention, this facility appears to be equipped to handle a wide range of veterinary needs.
Currently, there is no specific promotional information available in the provided reviews. Emergency veterinary services typically do not have promotional offers due to the urgent and often unexpected nature of the care required. For specialized services, it is best to contact the hospital directly to inquire about consultation fees, treatment costs, and any potential payment options or insurance information they may provide.
In conclusion, Cape Cod Veterinary Specialist, under the direction of Schulze Heidi DVM, in Buzzards Bay, MA, serves as a vital resource for the community by offering both specialized veterinary care and emergency services. The отзыв regarding end-of-life care highlights the compassionate and supportive environment, while the отзыв about the emergency visit for the sneezing dogs provides insight into the facility's ability to diagnose and treat acute conditions, albeit with the associated costs of emergency veterinary care. Local users in need of either specialized veterinary consultation or urgent/emergency medical attention for their pets should consider Cape Cod Veterinary Specialist as a capable and compassionate provider.

Sep 29, 2020 · Marisel HayesWe brought two dogs i for the same reason. Severe constant Sneezing after we spent the day on the beach. Turns out they just needed some Childrens Benadryl. The bill was $250 each for the consult plus $30 for Benadryl for a total of $560. Upon checkout, the vet only noted one consult fee but the receptionist questioned it and we ended up having to pay both consult fees. A bit extreme but I get it. It was an ER vet hospital.
Sep 09, 2024 · daniellefortThey are good but very expensive . They gave my husband pills for our cat which we had to pay for, but our cat will not take. She only eats dry food so we can’t hide them. We didn’t get a diagnosis, but she is better. I think because of the IV they gave her overnight.
May 13, 2024 · Michele MorseWe've been here several times over the last 10 years or so eoth different animals and they are always amazing. They treat you and your pet with love and compassion.
Aug 31, 2024 · Melody De CostaI recently had to visit that hospital with hazel my kitty cat I left a very positive post about that visit. This one pertains to the level of Excellence in dealing with an issue I had with a bill they were extremely attentive and took care of the problem and welcomed the feedback on how to avoid that in the future. Out of a five star rating I'd have to give it a six.
