I saw Dr. Paulino for my pug's ear infection and he was very good. This was my second time coming to Cactus Pet Hospital and both times I had good experiences. The vet tech is very knowledgeable and experienced. My dog is shy at vets and they handle it very well. Dr. Paulino did a full physical on my dog, which makes sense since you pay for an exam every time you go in (some vets charge you and it's not really an exam). The rooms are very clean and they make it cozy by going above and beyond placing blankets and pillows the animals can use. The vet tech goes over all the charges with you before any services. I have not been pressured into purchasing extra items or services. Lastly - the waiting room never has lots of people and animals waiting. This has made it a calming environment for my puggie. I'll keep coming here from Pahrump because it's worth it.

Mar 11, 2025 · Jeanette HannonThis is our second time bringing different dogs to this hospital. The nurses are friendly and kind to our fur baby. Especially doctor, she explained details on everything we asked and gave us the best solutions for our babies. We are really satisfied with this hospital. The environment is great and the price is reasonable as well.
Oct 29, 2024 · Chansitha YOUVisiting Cactus Pet Hospital in Las Vegas has been nothing short of wonderful for my furry family member. From the moment we stepped in, it was clear that this place is special. The team at Cactus Pet Hospital is not just professional; they’re caring, attentive, and, frankly, fun! It’s a place filled with genuine animal lovers who treat every pet like their own. My cat, usually skittish about vet visits, seems to love it here. Perhaps it’s the soothing environment or the friendly staff who know just how to put her at ease. Their handling and care go beyond just medical needs; they ensure he’s comfortable, calm, and even entertained throughout our visits. The facilities are top-notch, clean, and well-maintained, which speaks volumes about their commitment to the animals’ health and well-being. They are equipped with modern technology that ensures your pet gets the best treatment available. But what really sets them apart is the palpable warmth and joy they bring to their work – it’s a place where pets are not just treated well, but celebrated. While it’s already a haven for pets, the addition of a boarding facility would make Cactus Pet Hospital the perfect all-in-one spot for pet care in Las Vegas. It’s the only thing missing from making this fantastic place a true heaven on earth for animals. In summary, if you’re seeking a veterinary clinic that offers not just outstanding medical care but also a loving and fun environment for your pet, Cactus Pet Hospital in Las Vegas is the place to go. Sylvester and I cannot recommend them enough!
Mar 14, 2024 · Jordyn RossDr. Paulino is truly the best. He actually cares about your pet. He's taken care of all 3 of my babies and his level of care is definitely the highest I've ever experienced in the veterinary field. The team is also amazing and equally as caring. I recommend Cactus to anyone who is looking for the highest quality.
Feb 22, 2025 · Lisa Ann KellerMy cat was falsely diagnosed with diabetes by Dr Edenloff and prescribed insulin that, had I been foolsh enough to give her, would have killed her. When I questioned the diagnosis, I was treated with a "how dare you question me" attitude. I took her to a different vet for testing and her bloodwork was normal. If you love your pet, avoid Cactus Pet Hospital. I wish I could give negative stars. In response to your comments below, Dr. Paulino, I assure you that this is not a misunderstanding and you do not need to explain anything to me. The facts here are that Dr. Edenloff prescribed insulin to my cat without performing a fructosamine test and obtaining a definitive diagnosis of diabetes. She discouraged me from testing my cat at home even though she knows I have a diabetic dog. When every single reading I took at home was within normal range, she still insisted my cat is diabetic. I had her fructosamine level done by a vet I trust and it was NORMAL. MY CAT IS NOT DIABETIC AND THE INSULIN WOULD HAVE KILLED HER IF I HAD NOT QUESTIONED DR. EDENLOFF'S DIAGNOSIS. It is insulting that you respond with "I'm sorry you feel your cat was 'falsely diagnosed' with diabetes." It is not how I feel. It is FACT. Dr Edenloff failed to consider my cat's stress level and high white count as factors in her glucose readings. I suggest you read The Veterinary Journal, Volume 289, November, 2022. It's very educational. While you are at it, ask any diabetic you know if insulin can kill very quickly when administered to someone who doesn't need it. It isn't a "side effect." It is a direct effect. You are sugar coating everything you say for the benefit of anyone not educated on the subject who reads this review.
