Dr. Young was amazing. We drove 2 hours to bring our 2 year old mini Aussie in for seizures. The building is very clean and everyone was so nice. Dr. Young took the time to explain everything to us very calmly and answered all our questions and concerns. He gave us his opinion, and let us decide if we wanted to get an MRI done. The MRI was done that same day and we picked up a very happy puppy! The office even called us the next day to check on Riley and asked if we had additional questions. I would highly recommend.

Services:

This indicates the availability of advanced diagnostic tools like MRI on-site, which is essential for accurately diagnosing many neurological conditions.

The services likely encompass a range of neurological diagnostics (including MRI, possibly CT scans, spinal taps, and electroencephalography), medical management of neurological conditions (such as seizures, inflammatory brain diseases, and nerve disorders), and potentially surgical interventions for certain neurological issues. We referred to Dr. Young Vet Neurologist when the emergency vet could not diagnose our sweet Husky mix Cookie. After tests and MRI showed swollen lymph nodes, a treatment plan was laid out. Still waiting for pathology results, but we have been very pleased with the facility and the care she received. And Cookie is feeling MUCH better.

Everyone was very kind and guided us through the process. We were very nervous because it’s hard to see your pet having a seizure. We always felt like we were in good hands. We are thankful for the great care our Halo received. He is doing well and so are we.

Outstanding staff working at this practice. The front desk team kept me informed with updates on the wait time and I didn’t even have to ask, they were proactive with the information. The technician who took all the initial info about my pet was so kind and helpful. And Dr. Trub was compassionate, friendly, and gave such detailed answers to my questions about my dog’s diagnosis and treatment plan. I didn’t feel rushed at all when speaking to Dr. Trub, I appreciate that so much. I will be bringing my dog back for follow up care, this is a wonderful practice.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Michael Higginbotham and his team during my visit for my dog. Dr. Higginbotham was extremely helpful, took the time to thoroughly explain everything, and clearly demonstrated his expertise in the field. He made me feel confident and comfortable with my dogs MRI results and provided an accurate diagnosis. He even showed me the MRI images and pointed out the specific issues, which was very reassuring. I never felt rushed, and I truly appreciated the care and attention my dog received while there. Although he wasn’t able to perform one of the optional treatments himself, he recommended an oncologist who may be able to help my dog further. While the services were expensive, I can confidently say it was well worth it for the professional care and the peace of mind from finally getting the correct diagnosis. His assistant was kind and caring, and the front desk staff was attentive and welcoming. I highly recommend this veterinary office for anyone in need of specialized care for their pet.
